Please check the◎ facility details before making a reservation◎ About Kikori House In September 2023, a lumber company, Ogura, in the mountains of Minamiaizu-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, turned a house they created with a thorough commitment to wood into a rental house. Ogura is the descendant of a woodworker who lived with wood. Questioning modern housing that relies on 24-hour air conditioning for comfort, we created a space that feels like a wooden sunbeam, where you can feel the natural wind and sunlight while inside the house. While taking advantage of traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, you can stay comfortably without any inconvenience by incorporating modern facilities. On a dark night when you can see many stars, the sound of birds and the wind, and powdery snow that is so smooth that you can't make snowballs. Feel the magnificent nature of Minamiaizu with all five senses. There are few restaurants nearby that are open late, but the open kitchen is stocked with special cooking utensils, dishes, and basic condiments, so we recommend cooking for yourself.

Earthboat is a hotel-like room with a fluffy bed, and you can enjoy the authentic outdoors, so you can feel free to camp novice. Spending time with stunning views of the Togakushi Mountains creates a special time. Close to Togakushi Shrine, you can easily play in nature such as climbing, skiing, and snowboarding, and the proximity of the ski resort is one of the attractions. Please enjoy the scenery that changes depending on the sunrise, sunset, and time, from the barbecue, sauna breaks, and, of course, the large windows of the room.
