Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nieuwersluis

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

This is our second stay and we loved it even more than the first. Ella constantly goes above and beyond to make things just so we notice lots of little details including soap that was toddler friendly, fresh flowers, and some little welcome treats all waiting for us … but the most amazing treat was a little pull along toy that was age-appropriate for our toddler Very flexible and accommodating with checking in and check out and we are most grateful for that extra flexibility and kind We couldn’t recommend Ella or her home more highly we will be back again

O espaço é ótimo e o jacuzzi é muito bom e relaxante. Fomos muito bem recebidas! Anne é muito simpática e prestável. Recomendo muito.

Als je op zoek bent naar een leuke, sfeervolle accommodatie met royale natuurtuin met veel privacy en rust in een mooie omgeving met toch een terras en/of restaurant op loopafstand, dan is Paulus een echte aanrader!

I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location and Martin was an excellent host. Bonus cats too!

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Ugoszczenie przez Panią Trienie było jak ze snu. Bardzo miło nas przywitała, oprowadziła po domku i zaproponowała różne atrakcje. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni za taką gościnność i życzliwość. Okolica jest piękna - pełno zieleni, wiejskie zwierzęta tylko uzupełniały ten cudowny krajobraz. Domek - bardzo przytulny i czysty. Miejsce miało dla nas wszystko czego potrzeba do codziennego funkcjonowania. Jesteśmy oczarowani wszystkim co zobaczyliśmy w okolicy i na pewno wrócimy na, mam nadzieję dłuższy pobyt. Dziękujemy!

Heerlijk weekend in Dwarsgracht, ondanks de regen We hebben een fantastisch weekend gehad in het vakantiehuisje op de Dwarsgracht, ondanks dat het weer niet altijd meewerkte. Het huisje was comfortabel en gezellig, en de ligging is prachtig — zelfs met regen is het genieten in deze omgeving. Wat het verblijf echt bijzonder maakte, was de gastvrijheid van Eva. Ze was ontzettend relaxed en open, ook met onze beestenbende. We voelden ons meteen welkom en op ons gemak. Het is zo fijn als je ergens komt en merkt dat je niet alleen getolereerd wordt, maar echt gezien en gewaardeerd. Dank je wel Eva, voor je warmte en gastvrijheid! We komen graag nog eens terug — hopelijk met wat meer zon de volgende keer. 🌦️🐾

Wir waren jahrelang auf einem Hausboot in Amsterdam, das der Eigentümer mittlerweile aber selbst bewohnt und nicht mehr vermietet. Also haben wir uns nach einer Alternative in der "kleineren Schwester" Utrecht umgesehen und sind bei Pauline und Raymond gelandet. Das Boot liegt in einem Vorort von Utrecht, ist aber mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen (fährt alle 15 min) und liegt sehr schön in der Natur. Wir waren zu viert und hatten viel Platz, konnten sowohl unter als auch auf Deck gut sitzen, das Badezimmer ist für ein Hausboot geradezu riesig, die Betten super, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Der einzige Wehmutstropfen war für uns, dass wir in Nieuwegein kein vernünftiges Café oder Restaurant gefunden haben, aber schließlich wollten wir ja Utrecht erkunden, und dafür ist die Lage gut. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir wohl bald mal wieder hinfahren werden. Vielen Dank an Pauline und Raymond!

Es war eine tolle Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot! Das Hausboot ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und Jeanette ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind einige Bars und Restaurants. Die Kubushäuser und die Markthalle sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Auch die Metro und Straßenbahn sind nicht weit weg. Wir würden das Hausboot jederzeit wieder mieten! Danke Jeanette, für das tolle Erlebnis! :)

Nous avons adoré notre week-end dans les caravanes. Quel bonheur de s'y détendre la soir après avoir crapahuté dans la folie d'Amsterdam et de Rotterdam ! Votre jardin est magnifique, d'un calme surprenant et où il est vraiment agréable de s'y détendre ou jouer avec les enfants ! Coup de cœur pour Bacon 🐖🐽 et ses copines 🐔🐔. Merci pour votre gentillesse, j'aurai aimé pouvoir discuter plus avec vous mais comme vous l'avez constaté, mon anglais est très limité 🤣. Een weekje tot rust komen tussen het geschuifel van de vogels. Bij regen weer voldoende ruimte binnen en bij mooi weer een heel aangename tuin om te zitten. In de omgeving is vanalles te doen, winkels zijn dichtbij. Alles is aanwezig om zelf lekker te kokkerellen. Pizza bakken in de pizza oven was ook eens leuk om te doen. Zeker een aanrader. We voelden ons op ons gemak.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Echt een top accommodatie, gezellige mensen, een leuke omgeving. Een aanrader! Dank jullie wel Jet en Eric

Het huisje is op een kleinschalig groen park, waar je goed terecht kan met je hond. Sterker nog het was het Pinksterweekend en ik heb nog nooit zoveel honden gezien. Allemaal keurig aan de lijn en alleen maar vriendelijke honden. Met een paar minuten lopen zit je in het bos, waar - op sommige plekken - de hond ook van de lijn afmag. Er is ook een gemeenschappelijk zwembad waar je gebruik van kan maken. Het huisje is comfortabel, het bed ligt goed en ook op een fijn plekje waar je geen inkijk hebt. Communicatie met de gastvrouw, Jacq , is perfect. Ze reageert meteen op welke vraag dan ook. Dank voor de fijne dagen.

Magdalena hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht haben, hat sie uns Brot und andere Leckereien bereitgestellt. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, die Lage ist wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Zeer vriendelijke hosts Isabel en Bert. gezellig, opgeruimd en schoon huisje. Buiten ook heel mooi, helaas geen gebruik van kunnen maken vanwege de regen. Desondanks fijn verblijf

Wir waren zu sechst im Familienurlaub mit zwei Kids und Oma und Opa. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Karins Haus. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Park bietet viele Aktivitäten, allerdings nicht alles so beschrieben wie auf der Homepage (z.B. Elektroautos für Kids sind nicht in Betrieb). Wir waren im Mai in der Nebensaison und es war schon recht viel Betrieb im Park. Wer Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz. Für uns mit den Kids war es perfekt. Der Strand ist traumhaft. Wir würden gern wiederkommen!
