Bakhuisje aan de Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Sfeervol huisje in de tuin. Scandinavisch ingericht met keuken, badkamer, eethoek en genoeg ruimte om te spelen voor de kinderen. Boven twee slaapkamers onder een schuin dak, voorzien van eigen wasbak en spiegel, en een lief klein kamertje met een commode en ledikantje. In de kelder een barretje, voetbaltafel en bank met televisie. Buiten een ruime tuin met speelhuisje en trampoline. NIEUW houtgestookte hottub in de tuin. LET OP: hout aanwezig voor 1x hottub warm stoken. NESPRESSO KOFFIE

Rural guesthouse, close to Rotterdam

Behind our farmhouse is a separate guest house on our property. The cottage is quiet and rural, but central in terms of surroundings. It is complete, for up to 2 people, with privacy and unobstructed views at the back of the cottage on a meadow, where in the summer there are regularly some cows from the neighbors and sometimes some sheep in the winter. Our farm is no longer in function; we only have chickens (who run loose on the property) and there are a few rabbits and post pigeons.

Loop het beroemde poortje uit en verken het mooie Gouda! Baartje SandersErf is de broer van Bed&Baartje en zijn naast elkaar gelegen in het hofje.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! Our modernly furnished stay has a living/bedroom, private bathroom and kitchen. You have a private entrance and it is on the ground floor. All to yourself. It has air conditioning for heating or cooling. A space with a bright and quiet look, great for relaxing. In a quiet neighborhood. Central to Rotterdam, the windmills of Kinderdijk (7 km), Ahoy-Rotterdam (13 km) and Gouda (13 km). Also nice by water bus to Rotterdam or Dordrecht.

Bed & Bike The Gardenhouse - Rotterdam

In our backyard we have a charming guest house. You have your own place for a maximum of two people. The only thing we share is the garden. It offers an unique stay close to the river Rotte and two large parks, the Kralingse Bos and the Lage Bergse Bos. There are two bikes you can use for free. When you come by car, in this part of the city you can park for free as well.

Studio and alpacafarm (AlpaCasa)

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek & Bloem who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.
