Charming apartment at the entrance of the Emmental

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

The apartment is located on the first floor of a farmhouse, which we have partly developed ourselves. Like the rest of the house, we have equipped it with some self-designed design elements. I stayed with Claudia for two nights. I was able to cook and use the living and dining room. Everything was very clean. There is parking in front of the house and shopping nearby. The surrounding area is very quiet as it is a residential area. Thus a wonderful opportunity to rest, but also to discover Solothurn etc. During the evening walk you have a magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains. I felt right at home with Claudia. Claudia is very warm and it was nice to talk to her. Thank you.

Everything worked smoothly. Sandra is very open-minded, friendly and available for questions. Very spacious, for a few days only well equipped with a microwave, fridge nice and spacious. The room is very close to the ring. For me it was no problem, but if you would like to partout your peace and quiet, it may not be quite suitable.

Christian and Linda were very helpful hosts. They made our trip very comfortable. They were very flexible with extending our stay. Very quiet and peaceful environment at a great location even lots of parking space. Loved the outdoor activities they had at their home.

Expectations as previously described in Airbnb fully met. Friendly atmosphere and clean premises, breakfast was as expected, as previously offered on Airbnb. We cannot comment much more extensively, as during our week's stay from morning to evening we were out and about due to errands and visiting acquaintances, which was also the reason for our stay in Switzerland. The communication shortly in the morning after getting up at breakfast and in the evening after returning, together also enjoying a glass of wine and then retreating to the bedroom with integrated toilet and shower was very pleasant and exciting, as comparative interests by means of wanderlust to other geographical/topographical conditions as well as other cultures. In conclusion: thumbs up.
