We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Russell cottage was a lovely place to relax in and a great base to explore the Norfolk coast. Worked well for our family with a nice outside space which was totally private. The hot tub was lovely and clean, great for relaxing in after a day on a windy Norfolk beach.

Highly recommend for a peaceful break. Watching the stars in the hot tub with an owl flying over was particularly magical.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

Booked for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday! An unbelievable place to stay with such wonderful hosts, incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had. The outdoor bath/hot tub with the view is such an amazing addition. Everything is perfect about this place, would recommend to anyone and everyone and will definitely be back to stay here again!

We stayed for 3 nights at Julie’s place. It was excellent. The kids loved the animals and having a safe garden area to play in freely. The beds were really comfortable. The setting was really nice and everything was there that we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay here and if we are back in this area I will be hoping to book it again!

We had a lovely few days at Betsey Trotwood, the bed was so comfy we slept really well. The accommodation was perfect, and Bella our dog enjoyed the back courtyard. The information folder which Matt and Michaela had put together was very useful, it helped us to decide where to visit, plenty of very nice pubs which served high standard food close by.

Cosy, traditional cottage with a very helpful host who provided a lovely cream tea for our arrival. 10 min walk to a quiet and peaceful beach. Found a charger for the car 2 mins away. No real shop in the village so come prepared. Overall, a great few days in a very peaceful location.

We had a great time during our stay at this cottage. The accommodation was extremely clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and the surroundings were very peaceful (and we got to see lots of wildlife). The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. We would definitely recommend Hostlers cottage

Had a lovely stay. Great location - walkable to two pubs and boat hire. We hired paddle boards and a canoe and had a lovely paddle down the river. House was good size for 4 adults. We prefer our mattresses firm so the beds were a little soft for us. Lovely garden with BBQ - Rosy was great at sorting us a replacement quickly when the existing one had broken. Great host, would recommend

We had a lovely break at the cottage! We stayed for 3 nights and found plenty to do during the days! Our dog loved all of the walks, especially the marsh trail walk. We found a Wetherspoons round the corner, plenty of cafes and shops! Great location. We also went to kessingland beach, perfect for a quieter stroll and only a short drive away. The cottage was very tidy, with a lovely welcoming gift on arrival! Thank you!

This place was spacious, which is very important when coming from overseas with lots of luggage. There was ample room to hang clothes, put things away and generally feel comfortable. The cottage was lovely and cosy without being stuffy and the outlook was really peaceful and lovely. The main road was nearby but there really was no traffic noise, day or night. It just meant that travelling around was convenient. The cottage is in a lovely quiet street and is near many villages, particularly Bungay, however, you really need to drive to these places. Everything you need was provided in the cottage, such as tea, coffee, milk as well as all the cooking utensils, soap etc. Overall, this was a very well-appointed, clean, comfortable, quiet and lovely place to stay. Lovely space for a couple visiting Norwich. The place is just around the corner from a cute, busy street with lots of cafes, bakeries, so easy to sort yourself a good breakfast before exploring the city and its surroundings. The main city centre, with shops, market, castle, and Cathedral are about 10-15 mins away, so it's a great location - plus, we found it to be in a very quiet corner (we were there Mon-Fri, so not sure how it is at weekends). The house is and old space that's been renovated, but it keeps an old fashioned vibe with some of its dark wood, countryside-style elements, so if you're into a more modern aesthetics, it might not be the place for you. The house has all the amenities (incl two toilets) and while it might need a few tweaks and improvements here and there, it definitely is a great choice for a short stay. It's clear that Liam, the host, does this professionally as he was very organised, prompt and responsive throughout our communication, which is always a plus!

Set in beautiful surroundings, the cottage was well placed for walks and bike rides. I think we shall be returning at some point

Diane and Colin very clearly want their guests to have a great time and do everything in their power to ensure that their stay is comfortable, enjoyable and restful. The location is ideal conventiently near and easy to get to the nearest town but just far away from the main road to feel really rural and secluded and peaceful. They have spared no expense in equipping the accommodation, which is really comfortable and indeed luxurious. We can't recommend Diane and Colin and their accommodation enough.

Back from an amazing weekend stay at the Cowshed. The accommodation was spotless, lovely welcome basket on arrival and a well stocked kitchen if you are looking to cook in. Used as a base to explore on the bikes and was perfect in every way. Bath a lovely touch after a long cycle ride! Rebecca was very responsive to answer questions and would 100% recommend to others. Located in a beautiful part of the world.

Easily the most cosy, clean and comfortable Air BnB we've stayed in. The interior decor was light but warm, almost Scandinavian in feel and very much to our taste. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived which means a lot of thought and effort has gone into making it that way, thank-you Joanna.

A cosy and very comfortable cottage for our three night stay. The open plan living/dining/bedroom area actually felt more spacious than it appeared from the photos. The wood fire was a lovely treat on a cold night. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The sofa was also comfortable and spacious for two. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. Not as criticism, but I offer some extra information for others. The cottage is close to the road, and this road is not a rarely used country lane. There is a noticeable amount of commuter traffic, especially early morning and late afternoon. There is a combined washing machine and dryer, but no laundry powder/liquid is provided (so BYO).

We had a lovely couple of days over Easter at Rats Hole Barn. It was even nicer than we thought it would be from the photos and description. The barn was warm, very comfortable and cosy, as well as peaceful and quiet (almost no cars pass at all). It had everything we could have possibly needed. Rachel and Tim were really helpful and communicative, kept the place spotlessly clean, and were lovely to meet in person. They even gave us fresh eggs! If only we’d been able to go running together…maybe next time!
