Very comfortable home and great location for events at the Bowl of Brooklands. There is a lovely outdoor covered deck area and well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was there and Doug's instructions and directions were super clear and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks so much, the place was lovely and exactly what I needed. Convenient and quiet with space for my dog inside and out. The track across the road by the river was a great place to walk. Everything neat and clean.

Great spot to get all the family together. Good sleepout. Lovely big lounge, kitchen, dining area. Good size bedrooms. Nice decks to spread out. Didn’t have time to use the sauna but that would have been a bonus. Everything there we needed.

Sheree’s home is spotless and very comfortable. She is a very friendly and helpful host and the home is located in the lovely Fitzroy Beach area of New Plymouth close to both the beach and a handy set of shops. We loved our stay.

Really nice place. Lots of space and very clean. It was easy to check in and a short drive to the center of town. Lots of nice welcome bits on arrival. Very quiet and the bedrooms were nice and dark at night. We overslept on the last day... Great place for a couple of couples or family.

An amazing place to stay! The layout of the house is perfect for a family. Everything is so clean and clutter free. Our kids were outside on the lawn most of our stay, the deck area is beautifully lit by the sun. You couldnt hope for a better host than Fleur, she was so responsive and helpful. It felt like staying in a friends home. Would highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable, convenient location for the local town and surrounding district. Kate welcomed our Greyhound Storm which was important to us , as we would only consider accommodation that accepts dogs.

John and Brichelle were great hosts and were understanding with our slight alterations in our booking. I would stay again should the opportunity arise

Great place to stay. Each bedroom has an ensuite. Lounge and kitchen very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay with family. Lots of space for everyone. Very large deck that felt very safe for the children. Food at the restaurant was lovely. They also did room service which was wonderful. The ‘second living area’ in the photos was no where to be seen. Not sure if that photo has been posted by mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️ We also weren’t aware this property is actually part of a motel/lodge so when we arrived we weren’t sure where we were. It worked out really well though and everyone was great. The pool in the photos is part of the complex so it was quite busy at some points. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a vacuum cleaner in the room as this is not a serviced apartment and we had booked for 5 nights with children so we really could have used a vacuum 😅 Would definitely recommend this place to others. Really private with amazing views.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

Beautiful home and gardens, amenities were very good. Just a few small things like, batteries in remotes were dead, but found some in office for one remote. Pool net has a hole in it so not very good for sweeping up bugs. Gets a bit hot in the house without aircon, but lots of doors and windows to open. Otherwise lovely spot and very comfortable, clean and private. Glen was great to deal with and very accommodating. Glen

More than we expected! This place is huge and an amazing set up. Super close to everything too - we had a car with us but walked to the groceries, take aways, to the coastal walkway etc. would love to head back for another holiday!

A great and peaceful place to relax your mind. The owner was very friendly and responded quickly to any concerns. The place was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally clean both inside and in the garden. One of the best features was the cozy indoor fireplace, which made the evenings feel extra special. The drive to the property was a highlight on its own, with a beautiful road that winds through scenic farmland and rolling landscapes perfect for nature lovers. It’s an ideal spot to unwind, enjoy some quiet time, and appreciate the serenity of the surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Melissa honestly is the best host I’ve come across on Airbnb (and I’ve stayed at a few places). She was responsive, helpful and even left us goodies in the fridge :) The house was perfect for our needs as we worked at an event in the Bowl of Brooklands. Beds are firm, bathroom was clean and tidy and kitchen had most of the things we needed. Thank you for having us Melissa x

This Is an ultra-modern home, very clean, very tidy and with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was pretty well stocked (apart from the absence of a flipper. To fry or cook with! The larder was a lovely feature and everything was pristine. Minor issues were a hard to comprehend lighting setup with a dining room light that would just turn on every time we turned it off. It became funny rather a problem! Also the outside is lovely but would have liked to be able to turn the “lush” light off. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Sparsely furnished, even cold but we still had a great time up in the trees!

Caleb was easy to communicate with. Easy instructions of how to get in and it was clean. Great to have the use of a washing machine and drier too. It was expensive for two adults (over 400 per night) but Te Matatini was on and very limited accommodation. I am sure he will put it down for just a regular stay.

We had a fantastic time at Maria's house! Quiet, beautiful and clean inside and out, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. Very suitable for a young family, the trampoline and swing were a hit with lots of outdoor space to run around and plenty of indoor space including a separate living room area with a TV. Kitchen was the best we've had, with lots of good quality kitchenware making food prep easy. Comfy beds, and the excellent insulation meant it didn't get cold inside even when the temperature dropped outside. Strong shower pressure, if that's your thing. Good facilities for washing and drying clothes. Easy to get to location, a quick car trip down to the waterfront and not too far away to walk to shops. Great, quick communication from Maria. Not a single negative word to say about it, our favourite airbnb so far!

Great cozy house by Egmont National Park. Molly's place is great, spacious rooms, fully equipped, fast wi fi, everything was clean and tidy. She was friendly and always responsive. I stayed here with friends as a base for hikes at Mount Taranaki and it was a lovely experience.

Thanks so much - we had a brilliant (quick) stay and the house worked perfectly with the dogs! We will definitely stay again if we are coming through New Plymouth!
