Cabin holiday rentals in New Melones Lake

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

We really enjoyed the cabin and it was great to have the hot tub. Sheila is a very responsive host and gave great recommendations. We would definitely return!

The house was great and I'd recommend it to people looking for a jumping off point for Yosemite. Super comfy beds, great deck, enjoyable hot tub, beautiful location. Lots to love and we had a great time. A note for potential guests: The community (the Pine Mountain Lake Association) that the house is located within is currently experiencing heavy road work from 4/30/25-7/2/25. We had to wait 20+ mins to get into the neighborhood each time we came back, which was annoying to say the least. Not the fault of the airbnb host, but just FYI on expectations.

The place is one of the best places Airbnb places we’ve got to stay and relax in. Comfortable and homey. Lots of fun games and music stuff We enjoyed the vinyl records ,hot tub and game room. It’s not too far off from some of the most spectacular views and trails. The hosts were very cool and we never had any issues that we needed to talk to them about. They were very accommodating and we would gladly stay here again.

We absolutely loved the place and can’t wait to rebook! House was super spacious and beautiful location! Lots for the kids to do while the adults had a separate space to unwind! Hosts were extremely responsive and provided all of the information we needed for an enjoyable stay!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful and restorative weekend away at Elizabeth’s cabin. We loved the decor, well stocked kitchen, and relaxing among the trees in the hot tub. Elizabeth was an excellent host and quick to respond. We also appreciated her local recommendations for wine tasting and hikes. Awesome gem in Camp Connell and would love to stay again.

Great time at the cabin. Quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes from Pinecrest Lake, beautiful decks to enjoy the trees and your coffee. My one caution is there are steps to the front door and it's a Tri-level so its not handicap friendly. If that's not a problem, enjoy that the levels add to the spaciousness and the feeling you are nestled in the treetops. The generous sectional was awesome for a family movie night. Restaurant called Mia's less than 5 minutes away had great pizza. Awesome family cabin and the hosts answered all questions promptly. Really appreciated the pantry, the coffee bar, and the well stocked kitchen!

Amazing stay at this adorable cabin! Check-in was easy, I appreciated the keypad lock for easy entry on arrival. We brought our little dogs and they loved running around the fully fenced yard. The house was warm and rooms were comfortable. Rob was responsive and helpful. Nice location with trees all around but plenty of neighbors so you don't feel isolated. Nickel slot machine and pool table were so fun! The bathrooms are very nice. The only small issue we encountered, was that we got a little lost arriving to the house on the first night, due to our late arrival and it being dark so we couldn't see street signs/ markers clearly. I recommend using Google Maps to arrive, Apple Maps took us to the wrong location. Looking back I could see that Rob's directions were very accurate, I just misread them. The house is right in the area where Kewin Mill Rd. and W. Brookside Drive connect, right near Estralita Dr. if that's helpful to anyone. Thanks for everything and for the lovely stay Rob!

What a lovely cabin. It felt homey and was so close to their downtown. We loved the huge deck out front to hangout in the evenings. We will definitely be back.

Our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Angela’s cabin! The space is cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind. Twain Harte is such a charming little town—we had a blast at the mini golf course and enjoyed some great meals at the local restaurants. Angela is a warm and welcoming host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to return—next time in the snow!

The cabin was just perfect for our stay. Close to town and lots of hiking. We walked from the cabin into Big Trees state park which is a magical place. We would definitely stay here again and hoping to come back with our paddleboards.

We loved staying here and would come back as soon as we could. We find many airbnbs do not live up to the quality they advertise. However, this gem is more than worth a stay. We did not leave the area all weekend because we wanted to soak up every minute. The cabin is incredibly clean, well maintained, and as shown in photos. The hosts are extremely responsive and catered to any requests we had immediately. I cannot wait to come back soon and hopefully for longer!

Such a great choice for a peaceful retreat away from the city! My boyfriend and I and our two dogs enjoyed the views and space. Keith was extremely helpful with our questions and provided us exactly the stay we were looking for! AC worked fantastic, internet was fast, kitchen had the necessities for eating in, and the private lake was such a plus! Will definitely consider booking this stay in the future. Thanks Keith!!

We loved staying here! Everything is exactly like the pictures and the host was very friendly and responsive (: we stayed for a weekend and it was so peaceful being outside on the deck in the mornings and throughout the day. Saw lots of little birds and squirrels around the neighborhood. Everything was nice, clean, and easy to use or access.

We booked Blissful Pines on a last-minute whim to get out of the city, and into fresh country air and outdoor activities with our son. The cabin fit like a glove, providing a peaceful refuge and convenient base camp for hiking, swimming and spelunking. We loved the soaring chalet-style view into the forest, the record player to relax with, and sharing family meals at the beautiful dining table. The cabin was well stocked for our every need. Host Valerie was very helpful and attentive when needed, and clearly puts great care into the cabin and the guest experience. Well done!

Truly enjoyed my stay! The cabin is incredibly beautiful and the view in the back porch is incredible. The cabin provided all necessary amenities and more including a big list of things to do. A peaceful place with scenic views. Incredibly responsive host that’s super kind, would definitely recommend!

Tobey’s cabin is pure magic! It's perfectly appointed, anticipating every single need, and the design is simply stunning. You can tell she has a true artist's eye, every detail is beautifully curated. She genuinely knows how to host, creating a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming escape. I personally have serious textile envy, everything from sheets, dish towels and throws are unique & high quality. We left feeling totally recharged and already brainstorming when we can come back!

This place was beautiful! The backyard and deck was our favorite place to hang out during our stay! There were lots of games provided, which we all loved. The rooms were clean and a perfect fit for the 6 of us! I 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in this area. Clean, comfy, and peaceful with a great host.

We had such a wonderful memorial weekend getaway at this cabin in Long Barn! The place was exactly as described cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect weekend escape. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and we really appreciated being allowed a late check-out. It made our trip feel extra relaxed and unrushed. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat!
