The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker and outside gas grille. The bathroom has a tub/shower and was recently renovated. Cabin has 2 porches that offer great country views. This is a convenient and comfortable, above garage apartment, within a mile or so from uptown Athens, just off of Richland Ave. Equipped with everything you might need, including wifi, full kitchen and bath, central heat, and A/C. and then some. Many updates have occurred since original listing, paired w lots of little changes, as a result of positive feedback. Please bare with me as it's a continual art in progress. The bathroom has a small shower and a composting toilet. Towels, sheets and extra blankets are provided. This cabin is the only cabin on the property and is attached to a 40 acre horse farm with hiking trails, fun bird and wildlife watching. Close to Athens, the Hocking Hills, Lake Hope and Burr Oak State Park.

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. Nothing but stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

Perfect little cabin for our family of 4 for the weekend. Quick drive to visit OU in about 10 minutes. Appreciated the games in and outdoors. The kids especially loved Athensopoly and corn hole. Loved having plenty of extra towels and coffee/snacks. Cute firepit outside, but we didn't get to use it. Felt like you were in the woods, but not far from town. Overall great stay.
