What a great apartment! Comfortable, bright, very clean and superbly equipped. The view of the small harbour and the bay is fantastic. In the glorious sunshine, we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning and were lucky to spot dolphins. A good pair of binoculars was already in the apartment. we were also surprised by the generous welcome pack with bread , butter, eggs, a bottle of wine and much more. Thank you so much Des, we had a wonderful week in your apartment!

First time in Scotland. The Seatown fishermans cottage allowed us to relax, meet the locals, chat, walk, eat and sleep. The harbour was a hive of activity and interest. The beach sandy with kids playing, swiming, kyacking, exploring. The cottage had everything we needed and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped in the door. Simon and Bianca were great hosts. We are already planning our return trip.

We've had several bookings at Edith's place over the last couple of months whilst working in the area. A wonderful spot and Edith has been wonderful too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

A beautiful place to retreat to. My wife and I felt very much "at home" in the Garden Bothy and our old greyhound thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds. Exceptionally clean with everything needed for a week away and the welcoming basket with the individual shortbread biscuits was much appreciated. No guarantees but we did see a cheeky red squirrel a mystery Highland Coo.

The stay was extremely quiet and peaceful. Even though the ajoining cottage was let too, there was no noise at all. Beautiful view and we were lucky with really good weather to enjoy it. Not too far from Mintlaw to get bits and pieces at the Co-op or Morrisons Daily. Would definitely book again.

Cottage in Pitcaple

This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.
