House holiday rentals in New Buffalo Township

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

My girlfriends and I had a great stay! Ann’s place was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing outside, watching the animals and soaking in the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

I recently stayed with a few of my girlfriends for the weekend here. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was in a picturesque setting, and we loved how cozy it was. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub, the access to the public pool with clubhouse, and being able to walk to the beach to see the sunsets. We were able to enjoy a fire every night within the fire pit and loved being near the woods and the pond. Kristen was extremely responsive and a great host. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay again. We absolutely loved it here! Location is perfect for visiting lots of restaurants, wineries, and enjoying the best of Southwest Michigan.

The property itself was clean and cozy, and the location was great for a quiet getaway. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth. Great vacation! However, one major downside was the hot tub. While it was advertised as a feature, there was no way to test or verify the water quality—no test strips provided, no information about maintenance, and no visible signage about recent cleaning. For guests concerned about health and hygiene (especially with hot tubs), this was a letdown and made us hesitant to use it. We ended up avoiding it altogether, which was disappointing since it was a key reason we booked the place. The hosts tried to contact the owners but we never heard back about it. If the hosts address this with proper water safety protocols or at least provide test strips for guests, it would make a big difference. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable and the rest of the amenities were as described.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

The most adorable cottage and getaway for my husband and I! I am picky and this one checked all the boxes. We loved being right across the street from the private access beach, walkable to Whistle Stop, comfortable and super clean accommodations - everything feels well thought out from the sheets to the design choices and we appreciated all of the details. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Katrina’s place! It was very comfortable, clean and uncluttered. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. New Buffalo was a short drive away so had a nice dinner at the Stray Dog. We loved spending time down at the beach and then coming home to grill some steaks. Katrina was very helpful and super communicative during our stay! Thank you for a wonderful weekend away!!

We stayed at Katie's place for a relaxing girls weekend getaway to Lake Michigan. It had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The decor was beautiful, and it had all the little touches that make for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend!

This was my third visit to this beautiful home and property. I brought my daughter with me and she’s as in love with the place as I am! One of the stand outs of this visit - we brought a telescope with us. The night sky there is perfect for star gazing. We weren’t disappointed.

My wife, our dog and I stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend to relax away from the city. It was the perfect country escape- peaceful, tranquil and still a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore. We mostly went to New Buffalo for restaurants and kayaking, and to the Indiana Dunes for hiking. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with upscale amenities (like the coffee maker we decided to purchase when we got home). Mornings were spent reading on the screened in porch, listening to the birds and watching the chickens outside. There’s plenty of seating if you have a larger group, with tables inside and outside for meals. Stefanie was a wonderful host, her guidebook has great recommendations of things to do in the area and she gave very helpful instructions for the house. We definitely hope to return sometime as it’s so close to Chicago! Perfect weekend trip.

Sarah's place was perfect for our weekend trip. It was so nice, cozy, clean and very well decorated. The area itself is so green and beautiful and this spot was a great location for exploring beaches, Union Pier, New Buffalo and surrounding quaint and charming towns! We will absolutely be coming back!

This was the second time we stayed with Mary and it was exceptional. Very clean and private. Mary is an awesome host. Very responsive and very nice! The restaurants and town are walkable. We will definitely be back! We love the area The house was newly remodeled and it’s beautiful and spacious. They thought of every little detail. I would highly recommend staying here!

Rented this property for a celebration with my book club. There were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable with our accommodations. The hot tub was great. Location was close to the Lake and we were able to walk the shore. The kitchen was well appointed. We ate most of our meals in and were able to cook quite easily. Would rent again

Yoli was an excellent host! Very responsive & accommodating. The place looks even better in person and she makes you feel very welcomed. Never ran out of supplies and everything was in top shape! Will be booking again

The river house is a fantastic retreat. The home was spotless, updated and had a lovely, mild scent. The views were just incredible. We enjoyed relaxing on the lower deck watching the swans. Many families on boats went by. They always had a friendly wave. It was the perfect starting point for the Heritage Trail driving tour. Thank you Susanna for sharing your lovely home.

We really enjoyed staying here! All the downtown stores/restaurants were minutes away in walking distance. The house was clean and looked like the photos. Host was super informative with important information prior to check in. Everyone agreed that we’d happily stay in this house again!

The owners were helpful and responsive, the location was great and steps away from beautiful Sheridan Beach and close proximity to the Indiana Dunes and other tourist attractions. The house was remodeled nicely and well organized. The beds were very comfortable as well. I could feel all the hard work and effort they put into remodeling their century-old fisherman’s cottage with lots of fish stories told I’m sure lol. Will definitely stay again!😊

We were so thrilled with the stay. The house was beautifully decorated and everything in the house was top quality. Amazing private beach to relax at, then come up in the evening for a dip in the hot tub and a fire to close out the evening. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you, Jean!
