Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Nevada County

The place was as described and looked like the pictures. Erica was very responsive to questions we had. The unit also had some extra bathroom amenities like eye makeup remover and Q-tips besides your usual shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They also gave a small s’more’s package. The kitchen had standard supplies but had some plastic dining ware that we were able to use for the kids. They also had a toy and book basket with games that my kids loved. Very family friendly. The location is a little farther from the ski lifts but completely walkable and in the village. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The unit was sparklingly clean. The location is perfect in Northstar village, and we were able to park till 4PM after checking out which was very helpful. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Marci’s place! The house was clean, had great instructions/recommendations for the house and area, and the backyard and deck were so nice to have. There was quite a bit of pollen due to all the nearby trees, so if you are allergic remember to bring allergy meds in the summer. The kitchen was very well stocked. They also provided a kayak and a lot of beach gear. The hot tub was fantastic!

We had an amazing stay! The place was incredibly cozy and welcoming—it truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed and even more than we could’ve thought to ask for. Every detail was so thoughtfully prepared. Tanya is an amazing host. We look forward to comeback to Tahoe and definitely will try to book this place again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Lori’s place. The condo was as described, with plenty of space and close to the Northstar shuttle stop. The shuttle was easy to request and usually available within a few minutes even during ski week. One morning we did have to wait 15 minutes, but that was unusual. Lori was responsive when we needed help with something. We would happily stay again.

We loved staying here! We were there in off-season, between ski season and summer but it was perfect for us. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. The village shops were closed but pool and fitness rooms were open. Such a beautiful resort and super convenient for going to the lake and into Truckee. The condo was nice and clean and fully stocked. The host was helpful and responsive. Would definitely live to stay again.

Fantastic stay! Great spot right next to the lake, and the friendliest hosts imaginable. Paddleboards, kayaks, hot tub, what more can you ask for? Not to mention the bike lane is right behind the house and goes all the way from Tahoe city to Meek’s bay!

Great little place to stay, 12 min drive from Northstar and 3-5 min from shops and restaurants in Kings Beach. Stairs leading to the loft area could use a handrail, but they did specify that they're not suitable for children or the elderly, which is accurate! But the bed upstairs is super comfortable once you get up there. The sofa on the main level is not the same as pictured, but still comes out into a bed, although it's really only good for one person because the back center cushion doesn't come out and there's no actual mattress. But all in all this was a good place for a short stay, and the projector was awesome!

The place is clean, well appointed, and a great location close to resort. Hosts go out of their way to make a first class experience with several nice amenities including stocked coffee bar, well equipped kitchen, and a nice welcome package sitting in each bedroom. The place is awesome for the price.

The condo was perfect for my two young sons and me. Check-in/out was smooth and the apartment is just as described. The location was terrific, with a few minutes' walk to the lifts and restaurants. Will definitely book again.

Very good family ski in ski out condo for spring break. Well stocked kitchen and updated appliances. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels etc. Comfy couch and living area. A little bit of a walk (with stairs) from the parking area so if you have senior members of your group keep that in mind. Very easy to get to and from the slope (ski down to gondola in 15 seconds). Village run returns you right to parking area for the condo.

Great location — close to Northstar’s shops and restaurants, and an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. The property was just as described, and the host was very helpful with clear instructions and great communication. Enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic condo! Very convenient location in a quiet condo complex with easy access to drive to downtown Truckee or the ski resorts. The condo was cozy with a great fireplace to warm up after a day of skiing. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking whatever you need and the community hot tub was convenient and clean. Everything in the condo was spotless and comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The location of this condo cannot be beat, directly across from the lifts at Palisades Tahoe. Though it is right in the town, it is relatively quiet at night outside of some delivery/maintenance trucks, and there are multiple places to eat within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. One improvement that I would suggest for the hosts is smart TVs--the TV just had regular cable, and it would have been nice to be able to watch streaming shows with our own login. We did enjoy the multiple puzzles in the cabinet, however. Overall, we had a great stay!

The condo was amazing - clean, beautiful view, and updated amenities. We came to ski with the kids and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Multiple restaurants right outside, directly in front of the ski school and great beds to get a good night sleep. Will definitely visit again!

Meridith’s place was a wonderful getaway for us, our friends, and our small infant. Cozy, well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking, Roku tv for streaming, pack and play and high chair for our infant. Couldn’t ask for more! Meridith was a very proactive, friendly, and accommodating host.

Melissa’s place is truly something special. The moment you step into the house, you feel at home – calm, cozy, and full of charm. Has a beautiful old character that makes the whole experience feel warm and authentic. Our kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave! It was the perfect family getaway. Thank you, Melissa, for sharing such a magical space with us. Highly recommend!

Excellent place for three families to stay while in town for a wedding! Close to town, yet peaceful! Great for kiddos lots of books and toys for them to explore. Great outdoor space and eat to access with lock box check in and out. The only negative were had were the back room and bedroom were very warm but we also had exceptional hot weather! We had plenty of room to sprawl out. Fully stocked kitchen was very helpful. Comfy beds and loved they had a pack and play ready for us 😊 would definitely start again when we’re in the area! Thank you!

This home is perfection. Super clean, lots of natural light, nice Kitchen to prepare meals, and no fuss check-in/out. A colleague and I stayed here for work and it the bedrooms/baths were nicely divided between the floors allowing privacy for both of us. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Our family of 4 has a great peaceful stay at Suzanne's home. We like staying in Tahoe Donner when possible and Suzanne's home was the a great option. She was accomodating to our request before arrival and communicated quickly with questions during our stay. The kids loved discovering the kids rocking chair, sleds, baby books and DVDs! We wished we could have stayed longer. thank you for the hospitality

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!
