This was a dream stay for us! Everything from the place itself to the host Juliana was faultless. We loved the location in the historic centre of the city. There was easy access to public transport and lots of amenities within walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The lounge area was a great place to relax in the evenings, and we enjoyed watching the streets below from the balcony. The washer & dryer were life savers for us at this point in our trip too! Juliana went above and beyond to ensure we were having a good time, which was greatly appreciated. Meeting her lovely French bulldog, Mango, was also a bonus! We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Bern!

2nd time with this host. Absolutely wonderful attic apartment with a small balcony. Perfectly clean and stocked with necessities and even a few extras. Beautifully furnished and maintained. The amount of unbuilt land and spectacular gardens in the back are very unusual for any European city. Quiet countryside living with the benefit of being within walking distance of shops and restaurants and lovely trails to parks and river Aare. Frequent buses stop right in front of the house. The ride to the heart of the old city and the train station takes only minutes.

Simply everything perfect. Friendly, accommodating hosts and an absolutely great apartment. Modern, superbly equipped, sparkling clean and fantastic location.

Easy to find, spotlessly clean and close to an Aldi - important thing when you don't have a car! It was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. we loved the balcony at night. The hosts were really helpful when we asked for suggestions in the local area. We would definitely recommend!

The place is a little peace of heaven. Isolated, surrounded by beautiful fields and forests, and with an amazing garden literally at the doorstep. Isabel is very friendly and helpful. She went out of ther way to help us with a medical issue we had during our stay. Very much recommended.

We had a great time at Antonio's place! The accommodation was as described, very clean, well-equipped and perfectly located. The host was very responsive and welcoming, with small touches that made our arrival even more enjoyable. We recommend without hesitation and will be back with pleasure!

This place is perfect for a long duration stay as all amenities with full kitchen are available in the place. We had no issues finding anything because of home tour given by Jacqueline. Me and my friends loved our stay at Judith's and Simon's place. It is such a lovely old style chalet, very well equipped, and so cozy, that we felt right at home. The hosts are also such nice people and welcoming. Staying here definitely made our roadtrip to Switzerland more special. We definitely recommend it.

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. He even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

This was a wonderful stay where we felt at home. Heike and Fredi are super chill, friendly and interesting people we’re glad we have met. The place feels like a little piece of paradise and definitely worth the stay, get a fire in that brasero and some sausage cooking at night !

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Lena’s place. We spent a full month there, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and productive stay. It’s very private, the patio is amazing, and the views over the beautiful city of Fribourg are truly unmatched. The house was the perfect base for both working remotely and exploring Switzerland. Beautiful home with beautiful views. Thierry was very responsive and friendly. We travelled with our two daughters (5 and 8) and this was their favorite place on the whole trip. We cooked every evening and just enjoyed the peace and quiet!

We love Eva’s place. Very cozy and beautiful lake view from the living room. Sitting in the garden gives such tranquil feelings. Guests can even meditate on the big rock in the garden. We used the public transportation. Moving around is smooth and convenient for as long as you are ok with the pleasant walk from the bus stop to the accommodation. It comes with beautiful views of the lake from highland. Worth every second. Eva and her family are very friendly (same goes for the three lovely horses). We had a great time!

I found the place to stay very easily. It's very clean. The little extra with a welcome note! They are very responsive and accommodating. Had a lovely stay, the place is quiet and close to everything. There is a very nice walking trail around the house.

Davi’s place is exactly as described, waking up in the morning to coffee with spectacular views of snow capped peaks while sitting in a T-shirt can only be described as heavenly. Light and airy apartment, with a spacious kitchen & a great selection of crockery and glasses, everything was there that was needed. We had mixed weather in our stay and therefore the washing machine and tumble dryer were very welcome. The bed is large and comfortable, and the blackout blinds add to a peaceful sleep. Living area is very comfortable and we enjoyed an evening or two outside on the very comfortable sofa enjoying the night sky and sunset. Thank you to David, he makes the process very simple and really quite delightful.

Although the apartment is located in a large settlement, it is very quiet and cozy.
