Treebox Somerset - a unique stay in the Quantocks

Keri-LeighRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The coup of days was a late booking because the weather looked nice, and the family were looking for a few days together. It was a proper break for everyone. The kids loved their private bedroom and Luna especially liked how she had her very own fairy lights!! One evening was spent with a BBQ on the fire pit and hot tub on full blast and the kids loved every moment. Thanks for hosting us ♥️

The Granary, Beautiful Quantock Hills Retreat

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Quiet and very comfortable. Friendly welcome. Because its a listed building they were unable to add additional windows. Therefore there is no window in the main bedroom. Wasnt a problem to us. Lots of mod cons and certainly everything you need and more. Very remote and really narrow single track roads to reach it. Beautiful views from the farm too. There were lots of webs throughout but this was to be expected due to location. If i had to be critical, this would be the only thing I could improve. The overall cleanliness and comfort was excellent

Suzy’s place was utterly magical. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need; we would happily upsticks and have moved in permanently. It is located in a quintessential Somerset village, Stogumber, which features a lovely pub and community run shop. I would highly recommend booking!

Gorgeous Quantock Cottage

MikeRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Another excellent stay at Combe Cottage. The property is lovely & immaculately clean & dog friendly. Lovely tiled floors so you don’t worry about muddy paws and a brush, mop and bucket on hand if you need them. It has everything you need for a holiday stay. A small enclosed grass and patio garden, fine for our 3 small dogs. Beautiful woodland walks on the doorstep and also bridle walks along quiet country lanes. A lovely dog friendly hotel a minutes walk away and an old country pub about 10 minutes away, past thatched cottages. The locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. We will be returning and would definitely recommend.

Spacious apartment in Bicknoller

We needed a bolt hole for a night out with some family and chose Linda's place for proximity to where we were going. It is a lovely spacious clean and tidy flat above the owners property with beautiful views over the garden and open countryside. Instructions are very to the point but tell you what you need to know and what to do and not to do! Linda gave us three recommendations for brunch the next day and we went to the Rocking Horse in or near Stugumber which we loved. We will stay again hopefully when we return to the area in September for another night out with family.

Gorgeous converted barn perfect for families

LindaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a lovely place to come and celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with our children, their other halves and Grandchildren. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. A really good sized well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room for evenings and a good sized garden for us all to play ball games with the kids. We also made use of the BBQ and fire pit. Lots of things to do in the area, all within 20 minutes drive or less.

one of the best Airbnb's we stayed in for a long time. super helpful and responsive host. She went above and beyond with what was provided. The welcome hamper was such a nice touch. The views over the water were great for the morning coffee too. Definitely one to try.

Stable Cottage, cosy, attractive 2 bedroom cottage

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A lovely cosy cottage, was set back from the main road. Was a bit difficult to find at first due to this. But a hidden gem. Did get a bit chilly of an evening inside, but wouldn’t put us off staying again. The small galley kitchen had everything needed for our stay, both bedrooms were clean and welcoming. The bathroom had a power shower over the bath which worked really well. We used the living area everyday for dining and playing games with the children and felt comfortable doing so. The gardens within the property are beautiful and very well maintained. Ventured a bit further for things to do and places to eat as the local area didn’t have much. However there is a small convenience store which had a great array of items. Manor was very polite, friendly and helpful. He gave recommendations for places to visit for the day and various restaurants to eat at.Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend Manor and Stable Cottage.
