We loved our stay in Wakefield. Lynda's place is so lovely and full of charm and character. Located right on the main street in Wakefield you're steps away from local restaurants, the boardwalk along the river, shops and walking trails. We visit Wakefield often and stayed here while our house was getting some work done. The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable. Really enjoyable stay.

Clean apartment, nice views in the best neighborhood in Aylmer, close to the beach and pubs. To note that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is a trundle bed so best for kids and not 2 adults (and there is no pull out couch) so I would say this unit can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids.

Terrific location and nice setup in the house. A separate living room space in the home was bright and easy to close off for some extra quiet for remote work. Good espresso maker. Restaurants in walking distance. And groceries a short drive away. Great access to westboro beach and riverfront trails. Brenda was very responsive and communicative. We enjoyed our stay!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge!
