Great location for a summer trip to the area! Lots of amenities in the house and just as described.

What a gorgeous setting for a restful retreat. All of the necessary extra items such as snacks and handy items were in place for us and Jaclyn was a responsive host. The beds were nice and comfortable and we felt right at home. We will book again!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. Cozy, secluded, peaceful. It's also right on the Nelson 151, which is a road dotted with wineries and craft breweries. There was a new one to go to everyday! Back at the hooch, we enjoyed cooking, sitting on the porch, and relaxing in the hottub while listening to the nearby waterfall. Katie is a very responsive host and kept us informed with everything going on. We knew it was a couples' place right when we walked in. Cheers!

This place was as described. We loved the layout of the house and the decor. Everything in the house is labeled (so you don’t have to guess which light switch to use), wonderful view, and private. The host is very responsive and proactive! The directions to the property were clear and all instructions were laid out in advance. Thank you for a great stay - we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nice & quiet, listening nature on the porch and using the hot tub was a couple of our favorites.

Exceeded our expectations! This is a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and fun place to be. Clean, fully equipped, inviting, and the location is literally a breath of fresh air. The pool and hot tub were highlights for our entire family. The bathrooms and kitchen were pristine. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything was simple to use. This house is beautiful! We celebrated my sisters bachelorette weekend here and it was the perfect place. We made homemade pizzas in the amazing kitchen, took advantage of the hot tub, and crashed out in the super comfy beds. It was not too far from the wineries we visited too. It felt like the most special weekend escape. I would love to come back. Thanks for helping us celebrate!

Cabin was even better than the pictures! Communication with host was fabulous as well as the peace and quiet the cabin provides! Would most definitely stay again!

Words cannot describe the feeling of pure calm that comes over you when you arrive. This place is truly a treasure hidden in the woods. Once you cross the creek you leave the world and all your cares behind. The host pays attention to all the little details and it shows. We have stayed at quite a few places but this one is on our return list. We look forward to sliding up for a long weekend in the late fall or early winter. (Tip- be sure to spend 15 min reading the welcome package it is time well spent).

Michael’s cabin was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway for Father’s Day. Extremely private. Beautiful scenery, and the cabin was perfect and cozy and clean. We couldn’t have asked for anything else! The pups enjoyed their stay as well!

The wood stove is a lot of fun, and the porch is so tranquil in the evenings. A wonderful summertime retreat to explore the valley and enjoy nature!

We stayed here for a wedding in Charlottesville and, while the cabin was a bit out of the way from where most guests were staying in town, it ended up being the best decision we made. Our group was too large for hotel rooms, and this cabin gave us the perfect place to spread out and relax. We honestly wished we had more time to enjoy the space itself—it's ideal for a peaceful getaway weekend. Unfortunately, wedding events kept us running around, but we could easily see ourselves coming back just to unwind and take it all in. The property offers plenty to do, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. A couple of small suggestions that would’ve helped us (specifically as guests getting ready for a wedding): a full-length mirror in the downstairs bathroom and some brighter lighting in the bathrooms for hair and makeup. That said, these things wouldn’t be an issue for a regular weekend trip. Overall, a charming cabin that we hope to return to when we can truly enjoy it!

Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

We loved the large deck with incredible views! There is another property very close to this one so wasn’t as secluded as we had hoped but overall we loved our stay here. Go check out Eagle Zen Winery if you have the chance.

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Perfect spot for our winter ski vacation! Cozy cabin with that rustic feel you’re looking for in the winter. High ceiling and fireplace, great sunrise view. Felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. Close to the slopes, short drive. It snowed while we were there and we enjoyed being cozy by the fire. It had all the little extras you don’t think of or want to pack that many Airbnbs don’t have like bandaids and spices. Highly recommend

This is the second time we've stayed there and I have enjoyed my stay both times. It is a lovely venue. Just a bit of a warning to older seniors like myself: there are a lot of fairly steep stairs, but worth it for the view.

Beautiful house that is even larger and specious in person than on the photos. We had two separate families with 6 kids between us with tons of room. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil you could need. The TV had access to Netflix, Peacock, Hulu and Disney, which was a special treat for the kids. The house is only a 5 minute drive from the Mountain Inn at Wintergreen. The house has huge windows with beautiful sunrises and a view of the slopes. The driveway has lots of parking, but it is very steep. It snowed just before we arrived and it requires 4 wheel drive just FYI for anyone traveling! Overall it was an amazing stay and we can’t wait until we can come again.

It’s was an amazing property very peaceful and perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends to just relax and enjoy nature. Amy was really responsive and super easy to talk to.

My husband had a great time hosting a Bachelors weekend for one of his good friends. The guys loved the stay at the cabin and loved that it was so close to skiing. They would definitely stay again and maybe next time I can go!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. My husband took our kids (ages 10 and 7) fishing on the property, which they absolutely loved. We spent time swimming in the pool and hiking the beautiful surroundings. We also visited the nearby Virginia Safari Park and Natural Bridge Park—both were wonderful day trips. The host was fantastic, and the property was peaceful and relaxing. We’d love to come back!

Very cozy, cabin feel. Nice loft living room, great for watching movies. Main bathroom was spotless. Dog friendly.
