Our approx. 350-year-old farmhouse contains a newly renovated studio. It is located just above the village of Saanen with beautiful views over large parts of the Saanenland. By car, it can be reached in approx. 5 minutes, whether coming from Schönried or Saanen. In between is the underpass with the turnoff to Unterbort/Abländschen. Always follow the signs for “Sonnenhof.” The underpass is also a bus stop. From there it is still a 15-minute walk to the studio. Pick-up service is possible.

We built this little house for ourselves with love. It is close to our home, but it has an unobstructed view and preserves your privacy. You will feel right at home. We had a great stay when in the area for the Gruyère cheese festival. It was an excellent location for the train (apartment is above the train station) or driving. The trains were very quiet and we could hear the traffic noise a little bit but it didn't bother us. The apartment was a great size for a small group or family and the kitchen was well equipped. It was very clean and comfortable. There was stunning views othe mountains and th trains coming past on the balcony off the living room. We would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
