Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, die Autobahn wird in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Der fußläufig gelegene Bahnhof bietet Direktverbindungen u. a. nach Düsseldorf, Köln und Wuppertal.

Beautiful apartment with separate entrance, free parking in front of the house, terrace with garden view. Very convenient connection to the A 46 highway, bus stop, shopping and conservation area in the immediate vicinity. Solingen main train station can be reached in about 15 minutes by public transport. Wuppertal is 13 km away, Düsseldorf 20 km and Cologne is 30 km away. Ideal for short breaks in the beautiful Bergisches Land, for business travelers and trade fair visitors.

We have already prepared some things for your visit. For the first day you will find coffee, tea, water, spices, pasta, tomato sauce, etc. in the kitchen cupboard. If you have sunny weather, you are also welcome to have a barbecue on the terrace. A small charcoal grill and charcoal are available for you.

Apartment in Erkrath

The newly renovated apartment is located in Hochdahl, near the Hochdahl S-Bahn station. By train you can reach Düsseldorf main station in a short time (about 10-15 minutes) and within 5 minutes by car on the highway. We (Simon & Sophie with our daughter) rent a small apartment in the lower part of our house (single apartment with separate entrance). We have a small dog (Tilly) and a cat (Coco) and have lived in Hochdahl since the beginning of 2022.

Nice apartment - central and quiet location

You will stay in the Vohwinkel district. The beautiful Art Nouveau house is very central and yet quietly located in a 30 km/h zone. The end stop of the suspension railway, the train station with S-Bahn and regional train connections are only a five or twelve-minute walk away. Shops, grocery stores and supermarkets (Kaufland, Lidl, Rewe, etc.) Pharmacies, ice cream parlors and restaurants are also within a radius of about three to ten minutes' walk.

Absolute recommendation - simply perfect! The stay in this accommodation was great all around! Communication with the host was always friendly, fast and helpful – it couldn't be better. The location is ideal: just as described, with excellent connections – in just about 30 minutes you are in the middle of Cologne and even faster in Düsseldorf. Perfect for trips to both cities! The apartment itself is a real highlight: super modern, sparkling clean and furnished with incredible taste. You can immediately see that a lot of attention to detail has gone into this – everything has really been thought of. I felt very comfortable from the beginning and will definitely be happy to come back. Thank you for this great place to stay!

40 sqm feel-good apartment in the countryside with carefree package

Perfect in every way. Thomas was an incredibly hospitable, kind, and helpful host and made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. The place itself was perfectly clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could need. The kitchen was well supplied, the WiFi fast, comfortable bed, very nice TV, great bathroom and washing machine for clothes, and it was overall just a completely ideal space for our extended stay. The location is also perfect and only about a 15 minute walk from multiple grocery stores like Aldi and Rewe. Public transport from this location was also incredible and it was easy to cheaply get to cities like Cologne/Düsseldorf for nice day trips. If we are ever visiting North Rhine-Westphalia again in the future we will certainly be wanting to stay here again. Out of over 40+ Airbnbs we have stayed in, this is one of our top 3 favorites, easy. 5/5 in every category.

The place we stayed in felt like home. It was fully equipped with the basic necessities like iron, vacuum, hairdryer, a washing machine and dryer outside of the apartment within the building. We enjoyed our stay, the place was comfortable, quiet and easy access to supermarkets like Lidl, Edeka, Aldi and there are plenty of food options around the area as well. We will definitely come back to stay in the future. ☺️👍🏼
