Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Navy Yard, Washington

We stayed here for a couple nights with our two kids and dog and it worked well. Plenty of space for us. They do mention that the ceiling is very low and there are quite a few steps which are both very true but it is manageable. There is free parking right on their street which was a huge draw but construction limited the spaces when we were there, but Brian & Jess were helpful and we found free parking on the next street with no issue. We used public transportation to get around and it was very convenient and easy, two different bus stops super close by and easy to get to the metro. Lastly, it was so hot and very humid when we were there, the apartment is in the basement and it was musty and damp in the morning. Brian & Jess were helpful when we brought up, and were told the mini split unit has a dehumidifier setting and it seemed to help some. Brian & Jess were responsive and nice, and we’d recommend staying here when visiting DC!

It was amazing the apartment, it's my first time in an airbnb and I can say that my experience was fantastic.

My wife and I, along with our French Bulldog stayed at Maggie’s place while visiting our Grandson who lives just three blocks away. The house was just what we were looking for. It had everything that we needed. It’s in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and is very close to many of DC’s historical landmarks. We highly recommend staying at Maggie’s home, and we would certainly stay there again.

What a great air bnb! Kristine has a gem in old town Alexandria! It’s in a perfect location and while parking can be a little tricky, we lucked out the entire weekend and never had to pay for it. This place was great for our family, even with 2 young ones! My husband and I loved drinking wine on the rooftop patio once our kids were asleep. I would 100% re-rent this home if we are ever in Alexandria again.

We just got back from Jackie's Place! The home was beautifully decorated and clean. It is private, but also close to the best that Alexandria has to offer! We loved walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We were there to visit colleges for my son and were surprised how close we were to DC and Georgetown. Having the parking spot was also great. We could just leave the car and walk everywhere. Thank you for a great stay!

The location of this unit cannot be beat. It's a short walk to virtually all of the monuments, museums, White House, and the Capitol Building. The unit was spotless, everything worked, and the building has some great amenities like a pool and exercise rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to use this unit in this location for another trip to downtown Washington DC. The available parking, in the building, makes it a great spot to just leave your car and spend the rest of your trip on foot.

We spent 4 days site-seeing in DC and Lily's location was perfect, being just off the Richmond Hwy it was easy to get to by car. We paid an additional fee for parking under the building which was well worth it given the convenience. The Crystal City Metro station, with both the Yellow and Blue lines, was a very short walk away and could even be accessed via an underground walkway system just outside the building. Also just a block or two outside the building was a movie theatre and several bars/restaurants. Having breakfast on the 14th floor balcony was a great start each morning before heading to Metro to start the day's adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

The apartment was very clean, well stocked kitchen, very nice washer & dryer. Easy check-in and checkout. Many amazing restaurants in the area and all walkable. Very nice park two blocks away that we took our grandson to play in. Owners were extremely helpful and quick response time. Highly recommend this place and will be a repeat customer.

I definitely loved this home soooo spotless felt right at home. You might hear people walking here and there BUT it’s not an all the time thing, other than that it’s so peaceful. Kitchen is beautiful and has all the spices you kinda need if you wanna cook, bed was sooooooo comfortable and the living room was so inviting. It’s close to food spots banks grocery stores, etc. I’m definitely booking again.

The place was very nice, clean and quiet. The apartment is spacious and has anything you need in the kitchen. The linens are soft and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is also spacious and the shower incredible. There are good restaurants nearby, a gym in the building and the neighborhood is very interesting. Kenny is an incredible host always given us the support and attention we need. He sent us a basket of fruits as a gift.

My stay at Temi’s was nice and I miss it already! I felt safe even at night. A bus stop is a 6 minute walk away and the metro station is about a mile away. Temi is very responsive and the friendliest host I’ve had. For it to be basement unit there were not a lot of bugs, which was a concern for me, just a few spiders. Temi will communicate with you and the other guest to coordinate them coming down to wash their clothes. The cleaning she uses is amazing and does a great job at cleaning the space.

This place was great! It's very thoughtfully designed, the mattress and pillows and linens are really nice quality. The bathroom is super charming. The location is perfect, right near Lincoln Park and so walkable to Eastern Market. Casey was really responsive and lovely. A rare Airbnb that has really invested in good furniture. The one thing to note if you're a hot sleeper and visiting in the summer is that it's hard for the bedroom to get very cool. They offer a great fan, but if you have bad hot flashes and need to sleep in an ice box like I do, it may be too warm.

Area was perfect for walking to the Capitol and the area felt safe. Robert was great at providing recommendations for things to do in the area and even offered rain gear when it was storming during our stay. The place was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again!!

I used to live in DC and staying in this apartment felt like I lived there again. It was small but cozy on a gorgeous residential street. The bus is very close and it was also easy to catch the Metro.

Felt right at home when I arrived at Jesse's place! We were welcomed with cookies on the kitchen table and chocolates at our bedside tables. The space was pristine, clean, and we immediately felt at home. We were visiting at a time where the heat was rising and the place had central air conditioning that made coming home after a long day outside immediately cooling and restful. We had some of our best sleeps with their sheets and loved the rainfall shower head. They also had a temporary permit pass that we needed for our vehicle though where the place is located is very walkable to restaurants and entertainment that was around us. Also, super pet-friendly as we had a dog that was part of our stay. The host was super responsive, flexible, and was helpful with our needs. I would highly recommend this space to others and I would book this place again if/when we visit the area again!
