Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nagara River

We loved our stay at Masa’s place. It’s authentic Japanese house, well located and very comfortable. We were Teo families - 8 people total (4 adults and 4 teenage kids) and it was enough space for everyone. Masa was very responsive and even came in late on the first night to accommodate our request. Matsumoto castle is a 12’ walk from the house and the main shopping street with many cafes 5-7’ walk. We felt right at home, yet very Japanese :). Matsumoto is a highlight of our trip to Japan in large part due to a unique home we stayed in. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Masa!

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

I was able to enjoy it at an affordable price for a large group.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! It was a great fit for our family of five. It was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully set up. The neighborhood was conveniently close to everything we needed, including the train station, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were very organized and left a helpful guide with clear instructions for using all the appliances and amenities, which made settling in super easy.

exactly as described! peaceful and beautiful! everything in the apartment was top notch and the apartment was full of ameneties that were needed and more. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. the location is peaceful and walkable but it is not very close to the train station. personally, we didnt mind the 15mins walk there and back though and it was well worth the peaceful and nice apartment. the host was wonderful and shared some local paths to walk in the bamboo forest right next to the house. would love to stay there again in the future. thank you again Naoko!

Keiko’s house was so unique and special! And Keiko herself was so friendly and helpful, responding within minutes to all of my messages. Her house was small, with 2 floors, all covered in traditional tatami mat floors and little to no furniture (we didn’t need anything more!). The tiny garden in the mini courtyard with glass walls was so unique. The sliding walls allowed for us to close off 2 bedrooms upstairs and even a 3rd downstairs for my older father who couldn’t make it up the steep narrow stairs. Keiko was very easy going with our need to bring one futon downstairs, and she rode her bike to meet us as we walked from the station. The location is perfect, on a small quiet side street in a really nice part of Kyoto with little shops, restaurants, coffee shops and a 7-11 all within a few short blocks. We will definitely recommend Keiko’s house with our friends!

They provided a lot of information, including advance information, so it was very easy to plan the itinerary. In addition, the entire facility is kept very clean, The ocean-view terrace provided an extraordinary space to enjoy. This time, 7 people stayed, but I don't feel that it was cramped at all, and I think that a larger number of people can also stay comfortably. I think it is the best location for sightseeing in Ise-Shima, with easy access to everywhere.

This place had everything you will need for a comfortable stay that some Airbnbs don't have like ample supply of trash bags, laundry detergent and the little things I noticed like a sewing kit, nail cutter, cotton buds, lots of hangers in diff sizes apart from the usual like good brand of toiletries and toilet/tissue paper. Near the train stations. 17 min flat walk to Dotonbori. Nice restos nearby and a Lawson just at the corner. Seamless early checkout procedure and we left out luggages in their extra room in the building since our flight was at night. Will highly recommend and use next time. Thank you Ms. Anita❤️

Hana’s space was perfect for our family holiday in Osaka. It slept 5 of us comfortably and the space had a portable cot for our 1 year old which was handy! The location was perfect as it was 1-2min walk to the train station and just around the corner of Dotonbori street for eats and shopping! Highly recommend this place for a family visiting Osaka.

The place was well equipped, clean, in a great location near to a supermarket and convenience store. Short walk to a metro station and in a great area.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Kanazawa! The space was cosy, clean, and perfect for our little family—ideal for a couple traveling with a child. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. What really made the experience stand out was our host, Takara, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions.

Great location, very easy access to city centre shopping dining. 納涼牀grade patio, great for breakfast and night drinks. Lots of cool air, no need for ac on summer. Host Ken quick response and service. Can help book restaurants.

Communication is very good and the accommodation is in good condition.

Our second stay here, this time on the top floor. This apartment remains a very good choice in Osaka and we were very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and generally well equipped, bedding and pillows are luxurious and air conditioning works well. The location is perfect, in a relatively quiet residential area but with easy access to convenience stores, Namba and Nipponbashi stations plus Dotonbori and Shinsekai areas. The host responds quickly to messages and sent comprehensive check in instructions. We were able to check in a little early as the room had already been serviced which was a bonus for us. When returning to Osaka, we will definitely stay here again and can fully recommend it to others.

beautiful and amazing place, very quiet and calm neighborhood. 5min walking from Nara parc, perfect to enjoy it in the calm morning.

It was very beautiful, and I was able to relax in a nice and comfortable space.The kitchen was easy to use, and the facilities, such as speakers and projectors, were well-equipped, so I was able to enjoy cooking and staying with friends.I'd love to use it again.

The surrounding area and dormitory atmosphere were very good.There was also plenty of facilities, including a BBQ stove, and we enjoyed it all time.In addition, the bath and toilet were firmly new and clean to the atmosphere of the retro inn.I would definitely use it again in the future!

Clean, aesthetic, and very close to Shinjiho station with lines to Osaka and Nara. Only 10-15 min walk to Kyoto station as well. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms compared to the hotels we stayed in. Host let us leave our luggage in the house before check in when we got to town a little early.

Really appreciate Mickey’s attentiveness to my stay! He always respond to my request and will come replenish the items we need on the same day!
