A peaceful and private space within a family home with a garden view and separate entrance so you can come and go as you wish. We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a place to park your car. All bedding and towels are good quality cotton. The bed is a sofa bed made extra comfortable with a soft mattress topper and fresh cotton linen. Small kitchen and facilities available. Space is for solo travellers or couples but please be aware that bed access is from one side only.

It’s a charming “tiny house” which is completely independent of the main house with its own parking spot. The upstairs bedroom/living area is delightful - you look out onto the garden on all sides. It’s a very quiet location but only a few minutes stroll to the university, city centre, cathedral and canal. Reclaimed wooden floors throughout and a super comfortable double bed.

Stuart and Nicola made me feel very welcome. Friendly hosts and helpful when I needed to get to a particular place. Stuart made me breakfast, which was a treat, and Nicola’s homemade jam and marmalade was delicious. A quiet, comfortable place to explore the nearby quay and city centre.

She was super responsive and her communication was great. check in easy and the room was clean, well equipped and just what I needed for an overnight stay. Great having the en-suite there. A lovely room in a charming house 20 minutes from the city center (by foot) and only a five-minute walk from some good restaurants. Everything was clean and comfortable. Joanne is the kindest host, although the master of the house remains Dilly, the most sociable and welcoming cat in England! I would definitely recommend this accomodation. Fair price for the quality of the service.
