We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

Ray was a wonderful host, highly recommend whenever you’re in the area! He was very flexible, kind, proactive, and helpful. We had everything we needed, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Jordan’s place was an amazing space to hold my family and siblings’ families. Everyone felt comfortable and cared for. Even for the kiddos!! We loved how walkable it was for everything we wanted to do for the weekend as a family!!

The rental is in a great location, walkable to downtown restaurants and to the beach. The apartment fit us perfectly and had lots of beach chairs and beach equipment. The apartment had a great kitchen and a comfortable living room.

We stayed at Jay's place for a week. We were visiting our son and daughter-in-law who just had a baby and the apartment was 1 mile from where they live. I would say the location is exceptional to restaurants, markets and overall shopping. The beach was a 20 minute drive. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the essential necessities. Jay was quick to respond whenever we had a question. The living room was cozy and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay Jay.

I chose this location as a personal retreat where I could relax and work without distraction, and it didn't disappoint! The cabin is comfortable and the property is just gorgeous. I very much enjoyed sitting by the creek and reading, and working at the picnic table surrounded by trees and birds. There is also a very friendly cat who visited me while I worked. Cory is a friendly, helpful host, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt safe the entire time. I would gladly stay here again.

Great weekend trip to Idyllwild, with house located in a beautiful spot on Strawberry Creek. Nice open space living and dining area looking out to the creek and big outdoor deck to enjoy the weather and watch the birds and squirrels. Easy walk on the trail to Idyllwild Brewpub and the rest of the town.

It's so refreshing to have a listing accurately describe what to expect when booking a home. Erin was a great host and has a beautiful home. The house was super clean and the kitchen had all the basics needed to cook and bake for your guests. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is walkable to many restaurants and stores. We will definitely be staying again the next time we are in town.

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriends for my birthday and we had the best time! The house is soooo homey and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with bagels & snacks and a “happy birthday” sign. Pool and hot tub were great. Perfect relaxing outdoor area. So peaceful. Such a lovely home! Would definitely stay here again.

Loved it here! We had a ton of room for our party of 10 and Annette was great! The views were amazing and I loved that there was horse shoes and ping pong. I would stay here again.

Karey was an exceptional host - warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. The home was clean with plenty of amenities (pool towels, appliances, etc.) and perfect for our group. We felt instantly at ease and made full use of the pool and spa, which were both highlights of our stay. Karey went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, even offering us an early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip that much more relaxing. Her communication was prompt and thoughtful throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub on the deck, where we spent most evenings soaking and enjoying the fresh air. It was pure bliss. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer questions and genuinely invested in making our stay a great one. I cannot find the words to describe how incredibly lovely this rental was!!!! From the moment you step in, you don’t want to leave. Corner unit with incredible views, so peaceful and tranquil, it was like being on a nature retreat/getaway! Beautiful amenities and furnishings in every room. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Host left an overly generous welcome basket, some items in refrigerator, flowers and welcome card that were tremendously thoughtful. Host was very quick to respond on a couple of occasions that a question arose. I visit the area often as I have family there and, I so very much hope that this unit is available the next time I plan a trip to Southern CA.

This is a great location right near the beach. Hosts were very responsive and even installed an AC unit during my stay. I had trouble with WiFi on the first day but the hosts attended to this and resolved the manner quickly. This is a small clean apartment that is in an accessible and safe location easy to walk to farmers market, train station, beach, dining and more.

The peaceful neighborhood is close enough to civilization but far enough to hear your thoughts and maybe a bird’s existential crisis. Wonderful spot! So clean and exactly like the pictures. Jacqueline was very quick to respond and provided detailed instructions. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, and the place is within walking distance to the beach and a great breakfast spot. Great stay!!

This location is fantastic! It is a half a block from the ocean and you get ocean views from the front yard and the dining room table. The town of Carlsbad is adorable with lots of restaurants. The boardwalk above the ocean goes right to the crosswalk near the Airbnb. The place itself is clean and cute, and very retro. The beds were very comfortable. Slightly short on spices, etc. if you are going to do much cooking, bring along some things.
