Wonderful modern/chic/minimalist interior in a historic building. Terrific location -- right in the heart of old town, close to all of the historic points of interest and loads of great restaurants very close by. Super easy transportation. Unit is spacious and bright with large windows to look down the historic street. Bedroom has air conditioning to ensure a good night sleep. Shower has great water pressure and hot water. High-end kitchen appliances and a nice and cold refrigerator. And the largest TV we've seen in all of Switzerland! ;-) A great place to stay! And Juliana, the host, (who lives next door) is super responsive to messages and any needs. Highly Recommend! (If you like to enjoy open windows, note that old town has cobblestone streets and when the electric bus passes it can be quite loud; and cigarette smoke from the restaurant/bar below my find its way up.)

Our stay in Belp was simply great! The apartment was fantastic – modern, very clean and equipped with everything you could wish for. I would especially like to highlight the excellently equipped kitchen: everything was available, functional and in the best condition. For me, it was the best Airbnb experience so far... and at a very fair price! The hosts were warm, likeable and extremely accommodating. We felt welcome from the start. We were particularly impressed by the child-friendliness: our son was allowed to play in the private garden, use the trampoline and even bathe in the pool, which is actually intended for the older children. This openness and tolerance towards families with children is not a given – we have also experienced the opposite. Here, a relaxed and uncomplicated approach to children is really lived, which makes the stay for families much easier. We were able to enjoy the time to the fullest.

Great apartment 20 minutes from the city center. Public transport accessible at the exit of the accommodation. Spacious apartment in a quiet and clean environment. And finally, a responsive and very kind host. I recommend it!!

This place is amazing, the views from the balcony are exceptional and it was immaculately clean. Helena and Markus were great hosts.

Do not hesitate to book this place. If you are lucky to have it be available when you need it, take your chance. It is extremely close to transit so you can get anywhere. We used the apartment as our base and were able to get to Luzern, Zurich, Zermatt, etc. all within 1-2 hours. Easily walk to groceries, restaurants and beautiful overlooks. The city itself is bustling and beautiful, the neighborhood the apartment in is quiet and calm. You will never find better hosts than Christof and Michael. It just won’t happen. You will have everything you need and more. The garden is absolutely beautiful and you have a view of snow capped mountains. Just book it. Live like the Swiss with the most kind hosts you will ever meet.

This pension is a gem conveniently located in the lovely Breitenrain‑Lorraine district of Bern. An easy 1 mile walk (15-20 minutes) puts you squarely in the Aldstadt for great sightseeing, and the public tram stop is just across the street. A very safe neighborhood with lots of great cafes (especially try Restaurant Olympia as the apartment is located above this wonderful eatery) and small shops. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet with all the amenities you will need for your stay. Rahel was so kind and accommodating. I am a woman in my 60s who travels solo, and this was the perfect jumping off place to explore Bern ❤️

We enjoyed the comfort of the apartment very much. Everything necessary is available in the kitchen. The parlor invites you to linger. The mattress is very pleasant. The surroundings are quiet and the city can be reached by bus in a few minutes. And the balcony with its view is just amazing.

Beatriz and Carlos are pleasant hosts. They are understanding and helpful. The apartment was ideally located 2mn away from where our daughter lives. It is also close to the city center, at walking distance or a few mn by bus. It is spacious and confortable.

The stay was great! Kai’s mother made a book recommending all the places to go around the city. They place is in the city making it easy to walk everywhere, however at night it can be loud. Was not a problem for use because we had ear plugs that were provided by host. Overall great stay would stay again!

We really enjoyed our holiday in Bern. Matthias' apartment was well equipped for 3-4 people. And it was so central that we could reach everything by foot and then there were also enough bus/tram stations in the nearby area. Since Bern was very expensive, we were glad that we found two cheap pizzerias in the nearby area 6 minutes. But we could have easily cooked in the apartment. There was a large selection of spices available. Coffee capsules, dishwashertablets were also included for free. The only thing I would improve about the apartment would be the balcony chairs, there are certainly more comfortable chairs. And the slatted base of the main bed should be renewed. But since I slept in the next room, I personally didn't care. My mattress in the next room was great, I always had trouble sleeping somewhere else due to my herniated disc, but even my shoulder problems were almost away on vacation.

Really enjoyed our stay here! There were a lot of grocery stores nearby and the location was just nice because of the ease of public transport. Would recommend!

Our stay in this apartment in Boltigen was truly magical. From the breathtaking nature and warm-hearted people to the exquisite cuisine, every moment felt special. As we prepare to return home to Sydney, Australia, we know we will dearly miss this enchanting experience. The apartment exceeded our expectations, providing everything we could have wished for and more. A heartfelt thank you to Debora for not only keeping this wonderful place open to those seeking a magical escape in Switzerland near the Alps but also for her incredible kindness. It was so generous of her to pick us up from the train station and drop us off again, all while managing her own home and busy schedule. We deeply appreciate her warmth and hospitality.

Spacious apartment with all necessities, conveniently located near public transportation and grocery store. My two weeks there were very enjoyable. A five-minute walk takes you to the bus, which brings you to the center of Bern in ten minutes. Or in the other direction, the bus takes you to Koeniz, where you can find numerous shops. Veronika was very helpful whenever I needed anything. I will definitely stay there again! Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Anita and Richard’s apartment in Bern! They were fantastic hosts - communication was quick, clear, and very helpful throughout. The apartment was exactly as described: spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the city and just steps from tram lines, making it super easy to get around. Everything we needed was close by. Overall, a perfect place to stay in Bern! We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to others. Thank you again Anita and Richard.

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Wonderful stay! Everything was perfect, the accommodation was very clean and very functional. Pierre was very nice and gave us lots of activities to do that were great! I highly recommend this listing!

Chuen was a great host and should be proud what he has done with his Swiss home. It’s a perfect accomodation to stay in a peaceful traditional place in Switzerland home, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery whilst having everything you need, including a kitchen, great bed and bathroom for exploring the Swiss landscape. The hike from the train station is a little steep for those with suitcases, but for those back packing it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone staying in Switzerland!

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

well what can I say.... this place is outstanding, has a family we loved it from the time we arrived. The accommodation is large spotless and felt right a home. the farm was great the views outstanding and the hot tub a great added bonus. my children loved the freedom to play and spend time with the dogs chickens cows goats. the location is on top of the mountains overlooking the valleys so would need a car, interlaken was around 30 mins away which was great to swim. lots of lovely little villages around the farm. Barbara and her family are great hosts and will definitely be returning. thanks
