The house is great! Feel I was living like a local! Great & prompt communication via whatsap! Kitchen has all the tools you might need, even nice pots. Loved having a washing machine. The sunroom is perfect for drying your clothes on the rack. Heater in bedroom quiet. Private garden is wonderful, & neighbor's goats (baaah!) such fun to watch (peek through hedge). There ARE screens on the windows....just look up when you open the glass window and pull the hanging knob to catch on the bottom of the window (wish I'd noticed this earlier as there were some evenings w/ mosquitos). Ask how to operate the window shutters, if you haven't lived with similar. There are shutter keepers which will keep them open! The house is in a square with a church, so there are bells and people walking around, but not too bad! My only 'complaint' is bed is 5 of 10. The first few days are fine, but longer=less comfy/more sore spots. A decent topper would sort this out. Would definitely come back!

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Christian’s place. The apartment is about a thirty minute walk to the farthest points in Venice. The apartment was super clean and organized. The only thing I will add is the apartment is a bit smaller than what it looks like in the pictures. Absolutely recommend though. It was perfect for us.

Lovely apartment right beside the canal in a quiet location. Spotlessly clean, good facilities and a very comfortable bed. Host was very friendly, responsive and helpful, clear check in instructions provided and recommendations for places to visit and eat. The apartment is beside a vaporetto stop, a bar and close to places to eat. A few minutes walk to glass furnaces, shops, supermarkets, bakeries etc. Highly recommend eating at Ristorante La Fornace, great friendly service and very good food.

Lovely stay on Murano! Basically residential so it’s super quiet at night & walking for a day out. Felt private & had all we needed for 3 nights. Would recommend! The big Jasmine bush on the front fence smelt beautiful and welcomed us every time we came back & left!

This home is a true representation of the Venice lifestyle, yet in a beautiful, peaceful area. The rooftop patio had a great view of the basilica and we loved having our coffee there in the morning before going out for the day. There are 2 water bus stations just a 5 min walk away. Alice is friendly, informative, and responds quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Host gave us information on the water buses (water taxis)! That turned out to be extremely helpful to get from island to island. Buy the one, two or three day passes depending on how long your stay will be.
