Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Municipality of Bovec

We had a great stay with our family! Definitely whole trip exceeded our expectations. Even with two little kids is possible to experience Bovec adventurous side (Just ask Tamara what city can offer and you will get good tips and recommendations for companies she is friends with - a great one). Tamara's place is in a very calm part of town, no need to worry while your child is in backyard. Just like in pictures. Wonderful scenery on the balcony while having breakfast every morning! A secret gem worth to grab for! Thank you very much!!!

We loved our stay! The property at the end of Lake Bohinj is lovely, with a beautiful creek flowing behind it and is close to the lake and many hiking trails. The property is big and very well kept. My family had fun playing games on the large grassy area with a volleyball net. The cabin is new, clean and cozy with nice bedding and well stocked kitchen and linens. We made 3 dinners and found everything we needed for food prep. If you're going to cook, you may want to pick up groceries before arriving in the area as the local markets have somewhat limited options. Amenities in the cabin were perfect! We watched movies, took saunas and lit fires in the fireplace - wood and kindling provided in cabin. Washer/dryer worked great and it was nice to do some laundry before moving on to our next destination. Jaka is very responsive. He communicates well and proactively using the AirBnB app.

Very nice apartment for two couples traveling together. Comfortable bedrooms, and having two bathrooms was nice. Location is great - very rural, but less than a ten minute drive to Bovec. It’s also a ten minute or so walk down to the Soca River, with a couple of nice swimming spots along the trail. Highly recommended!

Wir waren zu viert in dieser Unterkunft und waren begeistert! Top Lage, super Hütte, sehr ruhig und ausgezeichneter Ausblick! Wanderungen direkt von der Hütte möglich! Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Check In und Check Out unkomplizert und einfach. Alles was man für einen Hütten Urlaub braucht war vorhanden. Kaffeemaschine ist leider keine vor Ort, wurde aber im Vorhinein gut kommuniziert somit hatten wir eine kleine Kapselmaschine selbst dabei. Hütte sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder

Beautiful and peaceful location. Excellent for serious hiking and good access to Soca valley and amenities. Lovely outdoor seating and eating area. Good opportunities for wildlife spotting. We arrived in the dark and a light was on inside with windows open so the house was full of insects. Not a problem for us but might be for others. Some essentials like toilet roll which was listed was not provided. The oven requires the stove to be lit so not ideal in warm weather. No iron found and no upstairs sockets. However, these were minor deviations from the listing and we loved our stay. Sadly other reviews mentioned swimming in the river but after the dry summer there was no river or swimming accessible by foot. Our email said check out 11:00 but the cleaner arrived just after 10 and we had a call saying it was 10:00. Hopefully that will be sorted for future guests so the information sent matches the expectations of the host. Road up was not as bad as other reviewers suggest.

Great place for a family of five in the center of Bovec. Plenty of space, kitchen, terrace, garden. Very friendly host.

Vanja has been very friendly and willing to help us out. The house was great and complete with anything you might need, from soaps and detergents to maps and useful flyers about places and activities. Starting from her beautiful place, you can easily go for a hike and check out the amazing Slap Virje (waterfalls) which is a great way to start exploring the area. Then with your car you can get anywhere and fuel will be very easy to get from the gas station just down the road, where you'll find also supermarkets. Everything was great and I can just recommend!

We had an amazing stay in Bovec. The apartement was as pretty as described and very close to supermarkets and to the town. Hikes can be started just around the corner. The owners were always super friendly and helpfull. Thanks for having us, if we come back to Slowenia, then we would love to stay at yours again. Kevin and Angie ❤️

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Haus Dormica genossen. Tanja war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns gleich beim Check-in mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Alles ist so wie auf den Bildern - wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend, direkt am Soca-Trail. Trotzdem ist es ruhig und bietet Erholung. Wir können Tanja und das Haus Dormica gerne empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Bovec is such a beautiful city with so much to do so close. The apartment was an easy walk anywhere in town. Free parking (make sure you know if your room is upstairs — we didn’t! Our mistake but no problem). Loved everything about it.

Very well equipped apartment. We stayed 9 days with a 15 months old child and it worked out well even though it’s only one room. Tina was very friendly and even organized a high chair short handed. The apartment was tidy and clean. Only the carpet showed some dog hair. If you want to visit Soca valley for hiking, biking or rafting it’s a very good location! Would recommend!

What an amazing place and beautiful community. The apartment felt cozy and we felt at home immediately. It was very spacious but functional and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need plus extras like flour and pasta. An expresso machine was a bonus. Having a separate shower room was nice, and the extras in the bathroom were great, like a first aid kit ( and luckily it was not needed!). A well thought out place in a stunning setting.

We had a lovely time in Soca Valley and in this cosy apartment. Had everything we needed, Marko also booked a rafting trip for us. Would love to come back!

The apartment is just outside the main street in Bovec and thus it is quiet but still close to all the cafés and restaurants. The apartment itself was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Helena was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Bovec.

Die Unterkunft von Mateja ist nur zu Empfehlen! Direkt darunter befinden sich Supermärkte und ein Sportgeschäft. Es dient als perfekter Ausgangsort für Ausflüge, sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Auto. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung war super sauber und schön hergerichtet, die Küche bot alles, was man braucht (Gewürze und Öl waren auch da). Check-In per Code war super easy und schnell. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Region sein, werden wir es wieder buchen :)

We loved our stay here! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The apartment was comfortable for four people - and the sofa bed was surprisingly very comfortable too. Very cute and the location was excellent. We highly recommend the burger restaurant just across the street. We also had a chance to do an amazingly beautiful kayaking trip with the adventure company associated with the Airbnb- we got a 10% discount on the rentals because of staying here and the company was very flexible with our schedule. All in all, very highly recommend this Airbnb!

Die Wohnung von Barbara ist super schön, wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Barbara steht auch immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und gibt super Tipps. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Logement très propre, fidèle à l'annonce, bien situé pour profiter de la vallée de la Soca. Centre ville accessible à pieds, Jure nous a bien conseillé pour nos sorties à vélo.

Priroda je nestvarno lijepa, smještaj čist i uredan usred predivne prirode. Komunikacija i organizacija je bila izvenredna, sve pohvale.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft und hatte eine super Zeit. Robi ist hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, so dass man auch gut kochen kann. In Bovec ist alles fussläufig. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Wir würden wieder kommen :)

Die Unterkunft von Natasa war wirklich schön, vor allem die Lage in den Bergen ist toll! Anders als z.B. in Bovec hat man hier wirkliches Bergfeeling und keinen überlaufenen Touri-Ort. Das Appartement war gut eingerichtet, es war eigentlich alles da, was man brauchte! Die Betten war bequem, nachts ist wirklich gar nichts zu hören und auch tagsüber nimmt man die Autos von der Straße kaum wahr. Die Pizza vom Restaurant gegenüber ist auch gut, eine Bushaltestelle gubt es auch vor der Tür - also alles bestens! Lediglich für einen größeren Einkauf empfiehlt sich der Weg nach Bovec, da der Mini-Supermarkt im Ort halt wirklich eher klein ist und entsprechend ist auch die Auswahl… Wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind!
