Apartment holiday rentals in Municipal District of Conamara

This is by far our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed in. From a personal meeting at check-in, tour around the grounds and the unit, personal recommendations (which we took John up on for as many as we could fit in!), to meeting us at check-out, we cannot say enough good things about John. Absolutely incredible host. And then there’s the unit itself. Thoughtfully laid out and decorated, perfectly maintained, incredibly clean, and the most gorgeous view we have ever seen. The photos in the listing do not do this property justice. Took our breath away as soon as we pulled up the drive. Nearly impossible to describe how beautiful and serene this location is, but is also within a short driving distance to all sight seeing locations we wanted to visit. The cliffs of Moher are within viewing distance. Outdoor space is spacious and feels private. Couldn’t tell the main house is next door. We only wished we were able to stay longer. Will find our way back again somehow! Perfection.

Es war eine gemütliche Unterkunft , fußläufig zur Ortsmitte und zum Nationalpark und auch Wanderungen in alle Richtungen und der Weg nach Clifden waren nicht weit.

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

We loved our stay. The apartment was just as described & perfect for us. The area is beautiful & we enjoyed our morning runs & walks too! The area was fairly quiet with not many eating places. Our host was fabulous & left us an Easter gift. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, thank you!

Great place to unwind for a few days surrounded by nature. It was nice to have the washer and dryer too. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

From the moment Aine met us at the harbour to leaving our bags back to the boat on our departure she was the perfect hostess. The accommodation has a great well equipped kitchen with modern perfect appliances and all kitchen equipment was fresh and relatively new. The home made brown bread which is left in the kitchen on your arrival also deserves a special mention. All in all I would highly recommend this property.

Wir haben zu Dritt einen wundervollen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus und die Gastgeber waren einfach toll. Zur Beginn standen Orangensaft, Milch, Butter, Marmelade, selbst gebackenes Brot, Eier und sogar Kaffeepulver als Willkommensgruß bereit. Im Haus lies es sich an nichts missen. Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine mit Spültabs, ein großer Kühlschrank, sogar mit Eisfach, Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr alles in gutem Zustand und ausreichend vorhanden. Handtücher, Duschshampoo sogar eine originalverpackte Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta wäre verfügbar gewesen. Gutes Internet per WLAN, USB Ladesteckdosen. Alles in allem ein Traum. Michael und Jackie wohnen neben an, stehen für Fragen und Ausflugstipps jederzeit zur Verfügung, überlassen einem aber auch seine Privatsphäre. Kinvarra ist ein kleines Städtchen mit einer großen Anzahl an Restaurants, Bistros und Pubs. Der Supermarkt ist im Verhältnis groß und lässt an nichts missen.Selbst Frischfleisch- und Frischfischtheken sind vorhanden.

This Airbnb is in the downstairs of a picturesque old building in the heart of Clonbur. A bakery and grocery store are across the street. Although trucks do rattle by early in the morning, and the property overlooks a wood mill, the location in general terms is fabulous because of all the things to see and do nearby. The layout of the rental is surprising at first, but it’s actually very comfortable once you get used to having an entry area with the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom in separate rooms off the entry. A couple of tips: hold the front door handle up, to lock it, and pull the string in the bathroom to make the shower’s hot water heater turn on. The owner of this rental is a delight, the village is charming, and the countryside surrounding it is stunning. Hiking trails are in easy walking distance! I highly recommend this rental.

We had a really memorable stay. Tom and Christina were really helpful, friendly and very welcoming, every detail they gave was perfect. The studio was our perfect getaway, a very peaceful and quiet locality. We went by the recommendations given by Tom and Christina, they were all worth it. They also have two labs who were very loving and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here, the kind of place where you could have the most relaxed vacation :)

Had an excellent time at Michelle’s! She was a great hostess with local recommendations with things to do, places to eat, etc. Her place looks just as advertised. Convenient location. The bed was super comfy and despite a little outside noise, I slept soundly each night. Thanks again for everything!

If I could give Noel and Karen 6 stars, I would. They made us feel like family from the start. We could’ve stayed there for much longer had we not needed to keep going on our trip. Lovely spot, truly peaceful. Amazing hosts❤️

Lovely area, private parking and a short hop away from a number of local activities and sights. The sheep on the property also added to the experience. All was as expected and any instructions were clear. Vera was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. Thank you very much!

Wonderful spacious apartment just outside of Galway. Very easy to get in and out of town on the 409 bus. Valerie is a friendly, very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, both exploring the city and doing a day trip to the cliffs of Moher. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

This was our second stay at Ernie’s place. The location is perfect and what made us come back a second time! We enjoyed being a couple doors down from the Crane Bar and being able to pop downstairs to his shop for some snacks. It’s easy to walk to the Latin Quarter while being out of the way on a quiet street.

Such a perfect location and lovely spot to enjoy Galway. On the quieter side of the river yet so close to a vibrant local neighborhood with excellent bars and restaurants. You can walk anywhere, and also easy to park if you have a car. The kitchen is great and the entire place has an excellent layout with everything you’d need. Rory and Ursula are superb hosts! We loved our stay.

Mary was a very welcoming host- she was responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, and left a wonderful welcome pack - including her delicious homemade granola. Mary was also very welcoming to our son and his wife who managed to fit in staying with us during part of our week's stay (they slept on a futon). They loved the place too! The flat is just outside Kinvara which is a lovely village, where, on Mary's recommendation, we listened to live trad Irish music and ate pizza one night. It's a great place from which to explore the burren (don't miss the lovely Russell Gallery and the nearby Flaggy Shore!). Thank you Mary!

This a great little spot to stay, great base to explore Clare, plenty of attractions, restaurants and local towns within driving distance. Theresa and Jerome are fantastic hosts, so friendly and responsive. Their place is so cozy and immaculately clean.

We called him about a couple items like how to turn on the shower. He was speedy in responding and always cheerful. Great interactions
