Sumarhúsið Flóra er einstakt, íslensk og gamaldags, 12 km frá Egilssstöðum, staðsett efst og í enda í sumarhúsabyggðinni. Einstaklega gott og fagurt útsýni yfir dalinn og Lagarfljótið. Fuglasöngur, kyrrð, rómantík og notalegheit. Flóra er jarðhæð með svefnlofti. Á neðri hæðinni er inngangur, stofa, eldhús, bað og svefnherbergi. Á svefnlofti eru 2 rúm. Öll rúmin eru ný með góðum gæðum. Brattur stigi upp á svefnloft. Húsbúnaður er bæði nýtískulegur og gamaldags. Á verönd eru stólar og borð.

2-3 manna herbergi í bjartri íbúð miðsvæðis á Egilsstöðum. Sameiginlegt aðgengi er að eldhúsi, borðstofu og tveimur snyrtingum. Baðherbergið er á efri hæð með baðkari/ sturtu og minni gestasnyrting á neðri hæð. Þvottavél, þurrkari og snúrur úti í garði. Stutt í “Vok baths” og alla nauðsynlega þjónustu, leikvöllur í bakgarðinum og sundlaug og flugvöllur í göngufjarlægð. Allar helstu náttúruperlur Austurlands allt um kring. Original restored turf farmhouse in the highlands

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

Mjóanes accommodation - Peaceful in countryside 3

This is one of three rooms in our beautiful accommodation at Mjóanes farm. This is a SMALL ROOM, 6m2 (square meters) and a very good for 1 person, it is very comfortable and cozy with good bed 90x200 cm. It is 18 km. from Egilsstaðir on road 931 at the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaðir. The closest grocery store is in town Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape.

Mjóanes accommodation - Peaceful in countryside 1

This is one of three rooms in our beautiful accommodation at Mjóanes farm. It is 18 km. from town Egilsstaðir on road 931 on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The closest grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape.
