Great stay and we would have loved to stay much longer. All in all super cozy cabin with an incredible view, awesome hot tub and many nice details!

Elsa was so helpful in recommending a route with lots of scenic stops on the way to the house! Their two cats were a joy to spend time with. We enjoyed the hot tub at sunset and Elsa’s fresh baked bread in the morning before heading back on the road. Highly recommend!

The cabin was in the most beautiful setting. Very clean and comfortable. Giacomo stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed and to bring us some chocolates, very nice. We did the scavenger hunt and had fun with that too! Went to the waterfalls which were just beautiful! We would definitely recommend a stay here.

I liked the owners attention to detail: There were things like binoculars to observe the incoming ships, DVDs for the TV, etc. The host even came by in person, just to warn us about incoming weather.

Great Airbnb! It is located in the forest so really calm and the supplies including a washing machine were truly amazing.

A really very nice and idyllically located hut. We felt completely comfortable. It also looked even better in real life than in the pictures. The only tiny criticism: a bowl and a slightly larger pan would be very helpful.

Warm Hospitality and Beautiful Stay Near Egilsstaðir My wife and I had a lovely stay at this cozy cabin near Egilsstaðir. We arrived very late—around 1 AM—but the owner still answered our call and guided us patiently. That level of support and hospitality was truly appreciated. The cabin itself was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect getaway spot. Travel Tip: Be sure to first reach Egilsstaðir town, and then follow the route to the cabin from there—don’t rely solely on Google Maps, as it may take you through the wrong route. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic stay in East Iceland!
