Holiday rentals with a patio in Mugnano, Lucca

The place has the most gorgeous views and it is absolutely quiet - except for bird song. Perfect for relaxation. I went swimming in the pool every morning. We were able to explore Northern Tuscany, using La Lavanda as a base. One just has to be prepared for a pretty scary drive up and down the mountain. But one gets used to it. Sabrina welcomed us and was really, really helpful. Highly recommended.

We throughout enjoyed our stay at Hamza’s place. The flat overall is even nicer than the pictures show. It is super spacious, pristine clean, newly renovated, so it seems at least. And it had 2 double bedrooms that came as a surprise to us. The master bedroom has huge wardrobes a large mirror as well and a queen size bed that has a very firm mattress that took some getting used to, but turned out very comfortable. The kitchen could use a few more utensils if you are planning for a big cooking but perfectly well equipped for the basics. The living are was superb with a giant smart TV and very comfy sofa. We travelled around with a car so location was perfect. Parking right at the front door, 25 minutes from Pisa airport , and Pisa, one hour to Cinque Terre and one hour to Florence. Couldn’t ask for a better location for exploring the area. Hamza was the fastest responding host I’ve so far stayed with. Very easy to communicate and super helpful and polite. I fully recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Formentale. The house was exactly as described, clean, cozy and cared for in every detail. Francesca was an exceptional host: helpful, friendly and attentive, respecting our privacy. The location of the apartment was ideal for exploring the area, and we also really appreciated your suggestions on activities and places to visit with children. Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. Without a doubt, this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had in over 10 years! Thank you so much, Miriam – we’d love to come back!

Matteo’s apartment is exactly as described and was exactly what we need for our short trip to Pisa. It’s 10-15 mins walk to Pisa central station and 20-30 mins walk to the leaning tower. As a host Matteo is very responsive and gave good tips and advices for what i needed: place for a pacifier for my baby, place to eat, how to best get around. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

We had an amazing stay at Jacopo's place, true paradise! Jacopo is a masterhost and we felt very welcome. The bed is great and we had a bbq in the wonderful garden, very peacefull Tuscan vibes. The cats also roam the garden and are very nice. It is not far from Pisa, about 30 min by car. We recommend this airbnb to everyone! :)

WE had a delightful stay in the most beautiful surroundings. This place was on amazing grounds and it was just perfect for us as we love the country side. We were welcomed by the owners father Sandro and he was quite friendly and engaging …explaining everything we needed to know. Although we did not have an opportunity to meet Marie and Lorenzo, Marie was quite helpful before our trip and quickly answered all my MANY questions. The apartment was well appointed and so cute. A lovely welcome basket was there upon our arrival. Everything was really perfect in this quaint community that is very close to Lucca and Pisa if you want to take a side trip. We enjoyed it immensely/

Maurizio's accommodation is highly recommendable. We were four adults and a small child and stayed for almost two weeks. The accommodation was spacious enough for us, and the old farmhouse has a lot of charm. The park-like garden is truly beautiful. All in all it is a great place to relax or play table tennis or volleyball. There's also a sandbox, a swing, and other toys for children. We really enjoyed the pool. If you're looking for peace, tranquility, and nature, this is the place for you. The host and his wife are very friendly, and we also found the gardener extremely kind.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and we had a great time! The house is authentic and comfortable. We both had to work as well and the internet worked perfect for us. We had online meetings at the same time without issues. There is no phone reception though but we could manage everything online. Marco is a great host and on top of things to make sure you have a great stay!

We stayed at Alessandro’s house for two weeks and we loved it! The house is warm (huiselijk) and cosy. It is a home away from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable. You will find everything you need. Alessandro is very kind and responsive. We could tell he takes great care of the house and its surroundings. Grazie Alessandro! It is 15 minutes from the city walls by car. 10 minutes to the supermarkets. My husband and son did lot’s of cycling, the house is a great start for different rides 👌🏻 We would recommend it to everyone who wants to stay close to Lucca, but likes quiet and nature.

We had an absolutely delightful stay. Peaceful and tidy apartment with a lovely view. It had everything we could have wanted during our stay. Enrico and Silvia were amazing hosts making sure we were comfortable. Communication was pleasant, efficient and fast. Grazie mille, Enrico and Silvia!

Italian hospitality at it's best. Nothing was too much and the most important thing to them was that we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, which we did. From there we were easily able to visit Lucca, Barga, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Panzano and the beach. The location and the view from the porch instantly relaxes you. On the last evening we sat on the porch, switched the lights off and watched the fire flies while drinking wine with our meats and cheeses collected from our trips. Do it, just book it.

We were an extended family of eight. The accommodation can only be described as perfect for us. The views were amazing and it was just so peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and the short trips to many restaurants and surrounding villages. That said, we spent most mornings and evenings soaking up the views across the valley to Volterra and beautiful villages dotted on the hillside. Andrea takes huge pride in being accessible and instantaneously responsive. A pleasure to deal with. A small bar / cafe across the road took care of morning coffee’s and any gelato pangs. Thank you Andrea, you made our stay so very memorable. Our only disappointment was leaving!!

The main thing is Nada' s attention to every communication you sent, she responds the same day. Anything you asks for within reason, you get from Nada. It was a new experience for us in Tuscany but her property is combiniently located within 40 minutes to an hour and 30 from all the Tuscany turistic places.

This is a fantastic location for those driving into Lucca. Parking is easily accessible just outside the ZTL but still within the city walls, making it a short and convenient walk to the house with luggage. While many reviews mention it, it’s worth emphasizing—this place is exceptionally spacious. It’s at least twice the size of other rentals we’ve stayed in that were described as “spacious,” which was a wonderful surprise not fully apparent from the photos. The extra room made it much easier to relax. We arrived on a cold evening to find the heat already on, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The host provided extra towels, body wash, shampoo, and excellent hot water pressure. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed having a radio and desks in the living area. The WiFi worked well. Communication was great, and check-in and check-out were simple. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hostess was really accommodating and even let us into the house 3 hours earlier as they were already done with cleaning and preparing. The cottage is very quiet and secluded enough to be able to move freely, despite the nearby main street, completely fenced so that our dog lady felt very comfortable and the house was protected from all unknown after 2 days😁. Amenities were good and sufficient. An outside washing machine did its job, in the house coffee machine, and all electrical appliances were available as well as a hair dryer. Air conditioning top, so everything you need! From here you can reach sites like Pisa and Lucca in a few minutes, Firenze Centrum in about 45 minutes and Forte dei Marmi and the sea in a good 40 minutes. There are some good restaurants nearby, I would recommend La Favola Mia, great service and excellent dishes. All in all, thanks to Giuliana, we had a wonderful vacation!!!!! Pauline’s place was gorgeous and very close for shopping not far to walk to the airport and to see pisa everything was located perfectly and the apartment was very easy to find so if you struggle with finding apartments and get lost this is a perfect place for you :)

We had the most amazing stay at Francesco‘s. The view from the garden was incredible and at night we were lucky enough to see lots of fireflies which was just magical. Francesco was a great host and made us feel right at home. The apartment really is a little gem in the hills of Monte Pisano and we would love to come back for another stay.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Iacopo's place. The apartment is right in the historic centre of town and within walking distance from many amenities and landmark sites of historic and cultural relevance. Especially notable amenities are: 1) beautiful terrace overlooking the inner courtyard; private parking; elevator (apartment is on the first floor). Everything was as described. Iacopo was very helpful and responsive, the perfect host. We will definitely book this accommodation again. Thank you!

This place is just magical. We spent 9 dream days in peace. Bianca and her parents welcomed us warmly and showed us around the residence next to their beautiful house, surrounded by nature and in the countryside (a car is essential to get there). The view is beautiful, and the panorama seen from the pool is even more beautiful than in the photos. The small path to the house is a perfect vantage point for sunset photos. The place of residence is simple but neat, and we had all the privacy we wanted. Bianca and her parents remained very discreet. Only the cat sometimes came to greet us without bothering us. Bianca even helped us make a reservation at one of the wonderful nearby restaurants. We will recommend this place of residence to our friends who want to visit Tuscany (Florence and Lucca nearby).

We had such a lovely week at Martina's beautiful home. The setting is stunning. Despite very bad luck with weather and rain most days, we had lovely visits to Pisa, Lucca, Florence (by train), Montecatini Terme, Livorno and the beautiful coast at Marina di Pisa on the one sunny day! Martina is a kind and generous host and the delicious homemade tart on arrival was much appreciated and enjoyed! We enjoyed two different local pizzerias and the Co-op in Calci is a very handy supermarket. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment. Light, Clean and airy. Everything you need. Great lighting. 2 Huge TVs. 2 terraces, so the best of the sun all day. Superb walk-in wardrobe. Just loved everything about it. Beautifully appointed. Great place.

Just go ahead and book! You won’t regret it! We had a great time! Susie and Paolo were so lovely! Our daughter loved petting Luglio. The location is great. You can spend the whole time there secluded and surrounded by the forrest and enjoying the fresh pool or also do day trips. We even went the beach. The flat is just like the pictures! Definitely a recommendation! An authentic AirBnB-Experience! :)

Sabina’s place is immaculate and in a great location for all the main attractions of Pisa. We were able to walk easily to and from the apartment and there is a lift for carrying bags up and down the stairs. Sabina communicated quickly and was very helpful. We’d highly recommend the apartment and will be staying again next week.
