Home from home! What a gem of a place. Situated in a prime location with all amenities nearby. What suited us was the birdlife and the tranquility of the setting. Shirley-Ann is a delightful host and, after a month-long stay, we are now firm friends and will stay connected. There is not a negative aspect to report: only a rave review of a rare find! We look forward to our return as we visit family and friends in Durban regularly. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Shirley-Ann.

Loved my stay here! Marian, Mauro, and Hajra (housekeeper) are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only are they great hosts but I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The unit was actually better than the pictures. I booked this place initially because it’s one of the few Airbnb’s that offered everything… A/C, fast WiFi, backup power, a full kitchen, gas stove, separate bedroom and living space, etc. My biggest priority was safety and this unit was extremely secure being in the back of the property with lots of gates and cameras. I don’t think there is any other Airbnb in the area that matches up to it. I would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful garden house with pool and ocean view. We really enjoyed working remotely from there and then relaxing in the evening or having a braai with the awesome hosts (and their lovely dogs) We had everything we needed. Total recommendation this one!

Stayed here for the Comrades 2025. Tim was a great host providing so much assistance and guidance on the error. Was genuinely the best decision we made for the trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Annaleen's place! She was incredibly thoughtful and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. Her attention to detail was evident, yet she completely respected my privacy, creating the ideal balance for a relaxing and comfortable experience. The space is exactly as described and the backyard path to the very private beach was very welcome over the festive season. I truly appreciated her warm and considerate approach. The house was a home away from my actual home, I can recommend it. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly always available to offer assistance. We really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully coming back soon.

We had a really pleasant stay at this property. The flat was spotlessly clean, spacious, and felt very welcoming. The main bedroom bed was especially comfortable – we slept so well throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable visit. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. Would happily stay again and definitely recommend to others!

Kuben is a wonderfu. friendly host and his place is absolutely perfect. The cottage is upmarket as described, clean and very well equipped. I felt really comfortable and right at home. I travel a lot on business and Kuben's Airbnb is so much better than any hotel room or guesthouse I've stayed in. Will definitely look to book here every time I come back to Durban. Thank you Kuben!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there which was for 10 nights. During our stay there was both a water and power outage which were not within the host's control. One was due to pipe maintenance and the other due to a vehicle colliding with a power pole. At all stages Ashton provided updates and supplied water and a gas cylinder and burner, so we were able to make coffee which was great. Ashton offered us a refund to compensate for the situation however we declined. Keeping us up to date and providing reasonable solutions is what really mattered the most to us, so we weren't left in the dark, if you pardon the pun. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone, and we would happily return should we visit Durban again.

We had a very wonderful stay, the place was very beautiful and looked better than the pictures. Very spacious and every room was aesthetically pleasing. Liesl was a very gracious host who allowed us an early check-in despite us not having made any prior reservations for that. I could go on and on about how wonderful the host and the place was…we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to visiting again in future.

Such lovely hosts! Bronwyn was so accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. The cottage was very clean and looked better than the pictures. She had breakfast stuff layer out for us to use if we needed to which was such a lovely touch. I will definitely be going back.

I had a lovely stay at Franks place. It was peaceful, clean, light and creative. It had everything it needed and when I couldn't find something Frank was quick to let me know where it was. My only suggestion would be to have some coffee as well as tea available. I loved the outside bath and fairy lights too.

Candice was an amazing host - very warm and accommodating. We had a great time here and highly recommend it!

Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

I enjoyed my stay in Bonela. It was peaceful and Vusi was very responsive and helpful. The place was ideally located near the taxis so it was easier for me getting around Durban. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend 👌

Jeannette and her husband are very nice, helpful and communicative hosts who live right next door. When we went to the beach, they nicely equipped us with beach stuff and gave us many good tips. The room is completely newly renovated and furnished and very clean. Located about 20 minutes from St Lucia in the middle of a green oasis. Nature sounds are part of it. The fridge is filled with yogurt, cereals, rolls, eggs, muffins, juice, jam and fruits, so you can have breakfast in the morning when you want. Pool and sun loungers invite you to linger. Washing machine is available. If you want to use it, you pay a fee of R150 per load and the laundry is washed, ironed and folded for you. We will be happy to come back!
