Country Living

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This secluded property is set on top of hill in the some of the most beautiful farmland in Alberta. Sit on the patio and enjoy your evening beverage and watch the sun go down over the Rocky Mountains. In the winter you can go cross country skiing and tobogganing. This house has internet and ROKU TV with Netflix but has no connection to live TV. The house will sleep up to 8 adults and there is still bed space for 4 children.

We bought our house in 2005 and have made many changes to it since.  One of them being the 500 ft.² guest suite. It features its own entrance, full kitchen, full bathroom, cozy bedroom and living room areas. It sits on a well manicured double lot and is attached to the main house in the heart of Didsbury, on a beautiful tree-lined street. It is walking distance to the shops of Main Street and our beloved cafés as well as a grocery store. Built in 1940, it is a house of many stories.

Your Private Hilltop Escape

Breathe fresh, country air as you walk the mowed trails on this large 20 acre private property. Sit on the deck and enjoy your morning beverage, later watch the sun go down from the very same spot, great views, quiet solitude. Lots of birds, occasionally a deer. A picnic basket supplied. Fire pit for bon fires. Mattresses and bedding for sleeping on the deck under the stars. The home is fully equipped with all you need, anytime of the year. Peaceful, cozy, and comfortable.

Quiet Country Farmhouse Acreage!

Red fox lane is a 3 bedroom farmhouse on 10 acres of quiet/peaceful land. Relax on the large wrap around deck, walk through the trees, or have a fire under the back yard pergola. This is a very peaceful place to stay and you'll often times see local wildlife including deer, moose, coyotes, blue birds, etc. This is our home away from home, and love staying in-between bookings. We keep the place fully functioning and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Just a short distance from the restaurants, strip mall and more you will find all you will need on main street! Take in the fresh air by enjoying a walk down by the Red Deer river covered with trees or take a swim in one of the many swimming holes the river has to offer. Designated parking in the rear and laundry services conveniently located right across the hall.
