McKenzie Rural Retreat

RupaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This is the type of Airbnb that you want no one to find out about. You hesitate to write a review because you are always hoping it is available when you are searching. It is simply the best. The apartment is well decorated, comfortable, and spotless. Everything you would want or need is there and then some. Traci thought through most everything. The bed is very comfortable as is the living room furniture. It is the perfect setup. The hosts, Traci, Frank and their dog Buck are the perfect hosts. Kind, helpful, and just terrific. You would be lucky to meet all of them. The location is very close to Springfield. It is not in Springfield, but this may be the greatest draw of this Airbnb. You have easy access to town, but are adjacent to the McKenzie River and the Walterville Canal - great walk or run with stunning surroundings. I checked out today and wish I was still staying there. It is one of my favorite Airbnbs of all time. Excellent for any length of stay! Go Birds!

Garys Place (Rm #3)

MilesRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Gary was a great host. He offers a lot of his house to his guests and makes sure their needs are satisfied. He’s also very generous about laundry and providing options for breakfast. The only drawback I had was proximity to public transportation, which of course isn’t a knock on Gary. It’s a little bit of a walk to the closest bus stop, but the neighborhood is nice which made it more enjoyable. If I’m ever in Eugene again, I’ll definitely try to stay at Gary’s.

Mountain Views: Peaceful Eugene Country Cottage!

LoriRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We very much enjoyed our stay on the side of the mountain in Marcia’s well appointed and comfortable cottage. We had fine conversation with her and loved meeting and playing with Buckie the black goat. Some highlights - the heated bathroom floor, ample walk-in shower, and light-up moon above the soaking tub; the big cooktop cooking island, where we prepared a lavish breakfast; the pretty melon orange sunsets to the west; a good bed for the end of a long day of hiking nearby. This was a welcome retreat.

A Cozy Treehouse in Springfield private room/bath

AlessioRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Wendy is a very welcoming host, attentive to every detail and at the same time a discreet person who leaves guests free to move and act within her home. The garden around the house is wonderful and can be enjoyed from the patio where you can sip a drink or even dine in the summer. He let us use the kitchen for both dinner and breakfast, and in the spacious bathroom, you'll also find small toiletries in case you're missing something! The only downside is the trains that pass nearby even in the middle of the night, I suggest a couple of earplugs to sleep better.
