Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

From the moment we arrived, Nicole was welcoming. His house is amazing, perfect in the heat with the pool, but also close to many cities with plenty of activity!

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Marion is an extremely kind person, focused on the well-being of the client. We loved the house, everyone has their own room with their own bathroom, which allows each person in due time to be either in a group or alone to rest, take a nap or read. Heaven. I recommend this place without moderation and we plan to return!

Very nice place, well thought out accommodation with the raised terrace overlooking the pool and a peaceful and beautiful view. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to meet the owner but in view of our exchanges by message I found the person very pleasant. Really enjoyed Christelle’s place. Stunning apartment and the sauna was a nice touch. Christelle was a great host and even sorted as out when we left the lights on the car overnight and flattened the battery. Area is quiet and not much nearby but was the perfect place for us as we explored the area. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful stay with a magnificent view of the estuary. The house is very well equipped, quiet and pleasant. The veranda is a real plus when the weather is not on your side. We recommend it without hesitation!

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Beautiful address at the port of Meschers in a quiet environment, even if the restaurants and the port are a few steps from the rental. The house is even better in real life than in the photos! Very spacious, well-equipped, everything is there for a good time spent with family!

We enjoyed our stay at the gite very much. The decor and furnishings are as described by Lindsay. The rooms are very nice and lovingly furnished and decorated. The quiet location of the property is incredible. You will only hear crickets chirping and chickens cackling. Our children particularly liked that the chickens visited us regularly in the garden at the property. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be. The hosts are friendly, open and helpful. They are very committed to the well-being of their guests and are always responsive.
