House holiday rentals in Moonah

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Bowen was just a great host and very responsive. The home was wonderful with an amazing view, love sitting there and watching the ships. When we are in Hobert will be staying there again.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

This apartment was in an ideal location — walkable from the city (just note there’s a hill on the way back!). The view from the balcony overlooking the harbour was stunning. It was peaceful, cosy, and wonderfully warm after exploring the city in the chilly Dark Mofo weather. Kelly was super responsive and shared plenty of great recommendations for our stay. We absolutely loved Hobart and will definitely be back!

Tom and Cate’s place was amazing! One of the best places we have stayed! They had lots of thoughtful touches especially for the kids. They went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great, the house was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved their little surprises and we loved staying there. Awesome place to stay! The pinball machines were so fun, could have spent weeks there just playing them! Highly recommended, great to have a place to stay with in-house entertainment. The host was great too, had some questions about the projector and he was very helpful! Overall great place to stay.

A truly unique place in stunning surroundings. Very conveniently located near MONA and the wildlife sanctuary with a couple of lovely wineries nearby. The comments from previous guests are accurate - one large living area so suitable for a family.

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s Airbnb during Dark Mofo. The place is very spacious, clean, private and the view is incredible!! Peter is very friendly, responded quickly to any questions and ensured the place was nice and warm for our arrival. A very smooth checkin process. Thank you Peter, I would 100% book again.

Amazing cottage in Hobart CBD within easy walking distance local attractions. Extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated with an amazing choice of eateries on the doorstep. I highly recommend this stay and Bec was a fabulous host.

We had a fantastic stay at James’s Airbnb! The place is thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless—it felt brand new. James was an excellent host with great communication, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay!

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . Kerry and Marcelo’s home was just like the photos — warm, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Every time we needed something, we somehow found it already there, which made our stay feel so thoughtful and easy. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space — we’d love to come back one day!

The Lady is a cosy and charming waterfront retreat. We had everything we needed. The wood fire, hot tub and indulgent furnishings made it a great winter escape. Everything was spotless and thoughtful. Would love to go back one day.

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location, if you’re an early riser and love watching sunrises, this is the perfect spot for you. The beach is very close by, and there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. I sent a few queries to the hosts during my stay, and they replied in record time, which was really appreciated. The house is located on a very steep hill on a corner block, which means nearly every car that goes past is flooring it right past your bedroom window, so if you’re a light sleeper, make sure you bring earplugs or a white noise machine to block out the excessive car noise.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy and clean Airbnb! The place was spotless and felt very homey, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s in a great location, close to shops and restaurants, which made it super convenient for our little family. One of the highlights for our son was the stairs, a cozy little space to read books, he absolutely loved them! We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch from Anna and Garth, who provided some children’s books. Our son is a keen reader, so that was a big hit and kept him happily entertained. Thank you for such a welcoming and family-friendly stay, we’d definitely love to come back again!

This beautiful Hobart property was absolutely perfect for our group of 7. The views were absolutely stunning – waking up each morning to such a gorgeous outlook made the whole experience feel extra special. There was plenty of space for everyone to chill out and have their own downtime, with separate areas when needed. At the same time, the common space was perfect for hanging out together – we spent a lot of time relaxing there and enjoying each other’s company. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for our travel schedule. Even though the accommodation isn’t right in the city centre, we found it very easy and affordable to get taxis in and out of the city each day. It actually gave us the best of both worlds – a peaceful retreat with amazing views, and still convenient access to all Dark Mofo events and city highlights. Highly recommend this place to stay in Hobart – for any occasion!

This is our 2nd stay at Lee's apartment and once again, the place did not disappoint. The online photos do not do the property the justice it truly deserves. Lee is a super friendly, very responsive host and will gladly help with any questions you may have. This is by far the best apartment we have come across and yes we will return.
