House holiday rentals in Montrichard

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We loved staying at Aulde’s place, the house was easy to live in, the garden was just wonderful with lots of equipment (table tennis, slackline, toys for all ages) and the heated swimming pool and the barbecue of course. Aulde was a very responsive, helpful and nice host, she made our check-out and check-out smooth and straightforward. Location-wise, I highly recommend this place as it is perfect to visit castles from the Loire Valley (Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, etc.) as well as historical towns (Blois), you find really good restaurants and Loire wine shops in the area, finally all shops you need are nearby. We all spent great holidays there and would definitely go again, so I can’t recommend it enough. 😊

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

It's obviously a 5/5, since we only have positive things to say. Very quiet, very clean accommodation, you feel good there, it is very well equipped, whether in the kitchen, for the bathroom, the bedrooms (nice bedding),... There are for example, for children, several games, as well as books, for everyone. The location is ideal, especially close to castles such as Chenonceau, Amboise, Chaumont, etc. Finally, Jennifer is very responsive, very friendly in exchanges, and accompanies the arrival of small friendly attentions. We are very satisfied with our stay at the gite in Florence. The highlight is the indoor pool area, which allows children to let off steam after excursions, regardless of the weather. The house as a whole met our needs, we recommend

We had a great time in a splendid accommodation. The decoration is a feast for the eyes and Philippe's creations are magnificent. We had a great time with friends in Josselin's house which is welcoming and warm. Completely true to description and photos. We came by train from Paris, the train station is 10 min walk, shops 5 min. We rented bikes for the WE and made all our trips this way, a large number of activities are accessible without a car: bike ride, castles, cellar visit, restaurants/guinguettes on the banks of the Cher. Thank you very much for this quality welcome. I highly recommend staying with Josselin.

This is our second stay at Solange’s beautiful, peaceful and charming property, which is perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. This quintessentially French property was perfect for us in every way! The kind of property we normally pass and remark on as to how lovely it looks….and it’s just as perfect on the inside too. The bed is comfy. The lounge is interesting with its unique wood burning stove and the kitchen full of interesting crockery, plus all the essentials to cook a great meal including a new Smeg oven! The shower is fabulous and it’s always lovely to find that the host has supplied a good supply of towels, loo rolls etc too! The outdoor space is really pretty and a lovely place to sip a glass of local wine. There was even a small car port for soft top car to retreat under when we had a rain shower. Thank you for your hospitality Solange and we look forward to a return visit soon.

It was a great stay in the small house with garden. It is very lovingly and stylishly furnished with a lot of high-quality equipment, it is even bigger and looks better in real life than in the photos. The kitchen is especially great and it is very suitable for children. The two are very, very nice and the entire stay was super nice!

I stayed at Valérie's sweet cottage for 4 days in June, and everything was perfect. The setting is so lovely - it was truly hard to leave. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime soon. Thank you!

We had such a lovely family holiday here. Quiet, relaxing area. We had a baby so we stayed at the house the whole time we were there just relaxing but there was a box of leaflets on the desk so we could see there was plenty of attractions and places to eat nearby. Supermarket nearby and local express shop, butcher and bakery too within walking distance. House was clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen and access to baby equipment- travel cot, highchair and baby bath - lots of space for the baby to crawl around and shutters on all windows meant it was nice and dark for him to sleep at anytime of day. Nicolas was there to great us when we arrived and showed us how everything worked in the house. He was always available to message if we needed any information. Plus his English was great. Pool was a lovely temperature and the cover was super easy to use - great for safety with children. All was amazing we would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and chilled holiday.

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊

The gite “Le clos des mésanges” is cozy and beautifully located. It is located at the end of a small side street, so it is very quiet there. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping. There is a courtyard covered with glyzinia, where you can sit nicely and also harvest herbs. Even a ping pong table is available. Cisseaux is a great starting point for things to do to the “Castles of the Loire”. The fairytale castle chenonceau is in the immediate vicinity. We explored a lot in the area with the bikes. We were able to store these directly at the house. Marie-Laure is a very charming friendly host who was always responsive to our concerns and stood by us with tips. We would rent the accommodation again anytime! Thank you so much!

We had a great time. Antoine was very welcoming, available and responsive. The apartment is great, well-equipped, and the jacuzzi is particularly nice. We will come back without hesitation!
