Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Monterey Park

A great place to put your head down and get work done. There are lots of great things to love about this stay—there is plenty of parking, it’s affordable, the area is residential and quiet, the room is large with a desk, it is a comfortable stay. What really set this apart was the host Qiu. She made me feel like I was staying with family, gave me her parking spot, brought me freshly steamed corn, chatted with me as I was using her kitchen. It was very wholesome and I felt right at home. It does help to speak mandarin, but she is very sweet and hospitable even if you don’t. Would really recommend this place if you need a quiet place to hop in and out and don’t mind being a bit further from the central LA areas.

Lovely house, clean and organized. Easy access and check out. Communication with Rosie was a breeze. Will highly recommend!

Had an amazing stay here! I appreciated how the place is gated making me feel safe in the neighborhood. This studio is spacious with great amenities. I would recommend adding paper towels but overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Always great staying

We had a great stay! The location was convenient, with lots of Asian restaurants and fast food nearby for late-night cravings. Our room was clean and the bed felt like a hotel bed—super comfy. A few things could be improved: there were no “no shoes” sign that I saw, so I felt as though the floors in the common areas weren’t very clean, so we kept our shoes on until we reached our room. The shower near the kitchen had low water pressure, which made it hard to rinse and not ideal for a good shower. Sound carries easily—we could hear footsteps and doors clearly, even from our room, so we felt we had to whisper. But these did not ruin our stay! Overall, it was comfortable and enjoyable!

Sherry has a nice house at a good price for staying in the area. The backyard was quite spacious and house had everything you generally needed. Sherry was very responsive and gave very clear good directions that made check-in easy late at night. Would definitely stay here again, thanks!

Sean was nice and welcoming, we arrived late but he greeted us in person and showed everything we needed to know. The room, bathroom and kitchen were clean and comfy, we had such good sleeps here and we had our own privacy. Really great place to explore LA from. Would definetaly come back again!

Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt bei Maria und ihren Mann. Sie waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam zu mir. Ich habe mich gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die ganze Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Direkt im Zimmer hat man einen Kühlschrank und einen Frost, was sehr praktisch war. Neben Maria und ihren Mann wohnt auch ein Untermieter dort. Er ist auch sehr freundlich und mit ihm teilt man sich das Badezimmer. Alles war wunderbar und die Gastfreundschaft von Maria und ihren Mann hat meinen Aufenthalt besonders gemacht! Ich würde gern jederzeit wieder kommen!

Janet’s place was so cozy and made us feel at home. All check in details are super clearly written out and photographed - unfortunately I missed them at first because Airbnb’s user interface made it seem like I couldn’t scroll past the door code image. Being from San Francisco, we appreciated the AC units in both the living room and bedroom. Great location and parking onsite was convenient / not too far from the unit itself. My husband and I did have to coordinate a little bit if we both wanted to be in the bathroom at the same time as it was a bit of a narrow space, but it wasn’t a huge issue at all. Would definitely recommend!

this is our third time staying at elizabeth’s place and we’ll definitely be back a fourth time! the airbnb itself is lovely, absolutely a great place to rest and relax. the kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked-(which is completely unnecessary but very appreciated) and elizabeth herself is a delight. the airbnb is a very short walk from downtown, and the walk is gorgeous. can’t recommend this spot highly enough.

Place was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Definitely would book again. Only thing is the neighbors could be a little nosy at times.

Jason was kind, responsive, and super flexible with my check-in time and date. The apartment itself was super clean and in a cute neighborhood. The only thing to be aware of is the wifi isn't super strong; since my friend and I stayed for a festival, we weren't home most of the time so this was not an issue for us but may be for those who are working remotely. Would definitely stay again!

Wie waren für 3 Nächte dort. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Straße in einem guten Wohnviertel. Durch die proaktiven Anweisungen die Vermieterin und die gute Beschreibung lies sich die Wohnung leicht finden und mit einem persönlichen PIN-Code öffnen. Ein Parkticket für einen Stellplatz an der Strasse lag wie vereinbart bereit. Die Wohnung ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, alles sieht noch sehr neu und gepflegt aus. In der Umgebung sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Tankstellen und Restaurants in nur wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ein idealer Ausgangpunkt um das laute Los Angeles zu erkunden aber trotzdem ruhig und sicher zu übernachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Keith’s Place Was Perfect For Just The 2 Of Us And Was Very Private Which We Loved

Lovely place with a very homey feel to it. It's one of two airbnbs at the building, but they are fully separated. Everything was as described, and the hosts were super communicative. Its a great deal, given there is laundry and parking onsite, they allow pets, and its a fully livable unit in a comfortable suburban neighborhood.

Selina was a very responsive host with a nice little place. Very clean and no frills. Bonus points for the gated private parking spot. If you are looking for a place to stay, with all the essentials and at a fair price, I would highly recommend.

Giselle and Ali are amazing hosts and we always enjoy our stay in their beautiful unit :) We’d definitely visit again soon!

We were in LA for business meetings. Before we make a reservation, we compared Ali's condo with the other condos surrounding. He is the most responsive and most helpful host, and we are so glad and lucky that we made a correct selection and book Ali's house. He likes a local friend who provided us with not only assistance/guidance on check-in and staying but also touring and catering advice. He is super responsive, proactively reaching out to us offering additional help, and so friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Guests can tell from the tasty design, details of guidance, and thoughtful and convenient amenities that Ali and his wife have spent great time and effort to make this place as welcoming and cozy as possible. This place is definitely our stay for next visit, regardless for business or private. The location is close to everything, peaceful, and in walking distance to my LA office and everything.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Nice place. Quiet. I had no issues getting in. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was clean. They had a steamer for my clothes which was nice as well.

Once again, Shant's place was the perfect stay! He communicates quickly, and keeps the place very clean. The rooftop pool is beautiful and relaxing! Bed is super comfortable! Having security at the entrance makes things feel extra safe! And you can't beat the free parking!!!

Roger’s place was perfect for my weekend trip to Pasadena. Within walking distance of good restaurants and very clean. Roger was a responsive and helpful host.
