Holiday rentals with beach access in Monte Rio

This is a great apartment with a spectacular view. If you are a bird watcher or nature lover, you will flip! There are sea birds, sea lions, herons and egrets right outside your window. It is also very easy short walk to the Tides Wharf with restaurant, snack bar, gift shop and fish market. Megan was always available and responsive to our many questions.

Nice place, clean, great view. Really enjoyed the stay. Someone mentioned the short duration of hot water in the shower- it actually lasted for awhile so perhaps they solved that problem. It would be great if they fixed / updated the door locks and keypad. They are very old. The back door handle fell off and also the lockbox for key. It’s difficult to lock the doors. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend.

We did enjoy our visit. Parking is terrible but that was already warned. We liked the futon for an extra bed. The amenities need to be updated. The barbecue was so old we weren’t sure if we should even try to use it. There wasn’t any oil to cook with. Seems like to stocking of the place could be more thought out. Views are great. We had a pretty windy visit so not a lot of time spent outside.

My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely delightful 4-night visit. Perfect place for a quiet, peaceful home base from which to enjoy all that the Russian River area has to offer. Kathy and Mike are very thoughtful and generous hosts. Their care and attention to detail to ensure their guests have everything they need to have as comfortable and enjoyable a stay as possible was evident throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time here over the weekend. The interior was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the bird, seals, and other wildlife. Everything we needed was less than 10 min away.

We loved our stay so much. The house exceeded our expectations in terms of views, cleanliness, and coziness. The beds were quite comfortable and the house is super quiet and peaceful. We came with our 2 and 4 year old daughters, and while it is not explicitly a kid-oriented house, it worked quite well for us. Details like blackout shades, soft carpets, and a very useable (and gorgeous) outdoor dining area made it especially friendly to small kids, in my opinion. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool we could need. The guestbook also had some great recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and we particularly enjoyed the fact that we could walk up the hill from the house into a hiking / vista area without getting in our car. This was a great find!

Our family really enjoyed this home. We loved the location. The home itself was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Everyone in our group had a great time and we would love to return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deja Blu. The location is perfection! Private, with beautiful gardens, only a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night was divine. The home was clean and comfortable, and Barr was a lovely, helpful host. If you are looking to unwind in serenity, I highly recommend this home.

This was our second stay at BayMod, and we're already excited to come back again. It's a stunning location, right on the bay, with kayaks and all the accessories you'd need (like lifejackets in many sizes). We saw seals, bat rays, and lots of other wildlife when we went out in the morning. We love going to Nick's Cove for lunch and outdoor games (you could even kayak there), to Route One Bakery for breakfast and coffee, and down to Point Reyes Station for shops, restaurants, and groceries. The house is impeccably organized (the most well-organized Airbnb I've ever seen) with helpful instructions and just everything you might think of. Example: lying on the couch looking out the window and feeling a bit cold? There is a bin of throw blankets within arm's reach. Trying to see what's on Hog Island right now? There are binoculars, plus a powerful monocular with a phone mount. This thoughtfulness extends to all aspects of the house. It's beautiful, clean, and cozy. Thank you Deb!

The home was beautiful, we truly enjoyed our time there. They say that pictures are worth a thousand words but pictures of the views from the multiple balconies are unable to capture how stunning they really are. The home was just as listed, clean and was the most stocked home we have visited. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas and made unforgettable memories.

Great stay, right on the river, really nice view. Was able to go down the steps and look at the river and sit on the dock which was a good river level for late October/ November . The living room with the bar and game table was very cool. Also the kitchen with the little window to the living room was very cool to serve food through. easy to park and easy to find.

The Sea-renity House is one of the nicest homes I’ve had the chance to stay in. The views are incredible, and it’s a perfect spot for kids with plenty of space to enjoy. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, couldn’t have been easier. Overall, a fantastic experience!

My kids and I had the best time at Kellie’s light-filled and happy get away home in Dillon Beach. Such hospitality, waking up to a view of the ocean, and a stone’s throw from the beach where we spent many hours. Thank you!
