We had a great experience during our stay. A very peaceful space (we only had the company of goats and sheep☺️), our dog walked freely and we followed Daniel's suggestion to go to the beautiful stream near the house. I must mention that Daniel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. In short, I highly recommend it for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to return to ☺️

The house is a dream! It has everything it takes! the terrain around and the views are incredible... Outside that has tradition and very attentive details! Acodar with the sound of birds and herds of sheep is from another world! The space outside is also very well taken care of and is pleasant to be with family or with friends!

Beautiful space, surrounded by nature, rustic cottage in great condition, very friendly and always helpful hosts, made us feel at home. I couldn't fail to mention the friendly Nougat, the friendly farm dog, and the donkey Serafim. Very quiet place, allows you to relax. I highly recommend it.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

We spent a very nice holiday week at Casa da Serra! The tasteful and thoughtful architect's house and the great garden with adjoining goat enclosure was only surpassed by the hospitality of Luíz and Isabelle. After sunset, fireflies "lit up" our terrace. For our children, the heated pool in particular was a big plus. Since we were the only guests most of the time, we almost always had it to ourselves. The national park, which also offers hiking opportunities, begins directly behind the house. I have rarely seen so many butterflies in one place. Of the nearby destinations, we visited Coimbra, Nazaré (north beach), one of the nearby caves, and Obidos. All in all, we had a very varied and at the same time very relaxing vacation with great hosts! Muito obrigado!

Perfect for those looking for a few peaceful days to disconnect. Heitor and Bernardina are fantastic, they help with anything that is needed and we feel at home. These days were fantastic and we hope to return.

The "Casa do Tio " is very welcoming, with everything you need for a stay in the middle of nature, without having to drive. We went with two children who loved the pool and exploring the countryside, and we had the opportunity to enjoy the good weather and have a barbecue in the outdoor kitchen, toasted by the sunset. In the evening, we were treated to a firefly show. Catarina was always very attentive, providing amenities for the baby. We were also entitled to "pampering" upon our arrival. We highly recommend this space for those looking for a calm, beautiful, modern place in full harmony with nature.

We stayed in a super private space, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. The pool is fantastic and our 3-year-old daughter loved it — she had a blast! We arrived around 10 pm and, even so, Edite and her husband were waiting for us with all the sympathy. They even offered us something to eat, if we needed it. We had a delicious fresh lemonade waiting for us and even honey berries, a treat we loved. We also had the opportunity to buy the honey that Edite produces and to learn a little about the production process, which made the stay even more special. Edite and her husband are loving and extremely welcoming people. The space is great, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, ideal for those looking for peace and tranquility. We were captivated by the charm of this small Alentejo house, which preserves its old soul with a welcoming touch. Upon entering, we immediately felt that coolness that makes all the difference on hot days - and that made us feel immediately at home. The courtyard is a true haven, perfect for al fresco dining and moments of tranquility. The house is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket and an excellent sausage shop just a stone's throw away, and we loved integrating walks through the village into our routine. Maria João was a thoughtful and generous host — she even offered us a bottle of family olive oil, a beautiful gesture that we will remember. We highly recommend it!

Perfect house to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You can do your grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even seems to be ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and left us at ease to get in touch whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

As others have said the hosts were excellent. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed with a jug of homemade lemonade and fruit. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and we found it refreshingly cool in the hot Alentejo summer without the need to use the aircon. It's a short drive to Évora which is a lovely city with some excellent restaurants. All in all this was one of our best stays in an AirBnB.
