We are so glad we chose to stay at David's place! The location in the village of Albas is beautiful & everything was clean and very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to sit in the garden. It was hot while we were there (34 degrees) but we were very comfortable because it is well-insulated and has shutters and aircon. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Very happy with this stay, a little paradise that allowed us to be in our bubble. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and responsiveness following one of my last-minute requests. I'll be happy to come back during the jacuzzi season to enjoy it 😊

Impeccable welcome. Small accommodation easy to access, clean, well maintained, there is everything you may need in the accommodation. The host thought of everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Very quick responses to questions/requests. I really recommend it for a short or longer stay. We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

What can I say other than SUPERBE !!!! Falker and Lazhar were the most wonderful hosts. We felt so welcome from the second we arrived and so did our little dog Rubie who quickly made friends with August and Luise. The surrounds were so tranquil and well kept and the pool was amazing during the warm afternoons. Amazing views of Villeneuve Sur Lot from the garden. We were sorry to leave as Falke waved us off and I’m sure we will return when we drive to the U.K. in the future. Thank you Falke and Lazhar with love from Marie and Ian - A bientot xxxx

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

We loved our week at Patricia's place. The house is just extraordinary, hard to be more quiet. It's even more spectacular than pictured, we don't realize the size and beauty of the space. Patricia and her husband were kind as rare to find today. I recommend it blindly and even hope to be able to return one day.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Thank you so much for welcoming us in to your special home Sophie and Daniel.

Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.

Wow! Just wow!!! A totally amazing place, so peaceful, surrounded by vineyards and quiet French lanes. We holidayed as two families, with teenagers (11-15 ages) loads to do at Maison Bellair, games for the garden, and inside. The pool was just perfect for chilling off after local cycle rides. The house is beautiful throughout, loads of extra details which made our stay easy and stress free. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms stayed cool, even without AC. The outdoor kitchen and dining area was just perfect for our families to cook and eat together. Cécile was an amazing host, very quick to respond but left us to enjoy our holiday. The near by town has a great selection of Supermarkets, and shops. We went by train to explore Bordeaux from Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, which was easy. We also parked in the train station of Bergerac for free to wonder about the old town there. We loved Castle Duras, with its night market and castle luminations it was truly magical Thank you Cécile

We had a great stay. Very peaceful in the middle of nature, and a great swimming pool to enjoy. Tas is amazing, reacting immediately for all you need. Thanks Tas! Definitely would recommend this place.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. A beautiful little house, tucked away but still so close to everything you need. The perfect base whether you are looking to explore or relax in the sun. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We were warmly welcomed by Anya and her young son. The house corresponds in every way to the description, the organization of the spaces is ideal especially when several couples or families stay under the same roof. The bedding is very comfortable, we really enjoyed the library with all these books, games, DVDs and oracles. The kitchen is very well equipped, nothing was missing. Exteriors are top notch. We enjoyed the Nordic bath, the lounge area, hammock, petanque court and the surrounding countryside which is just beautiful. And thank you for the little soaps you gave us when we arrived :)

Staying here was a dream come true! Our family had the best time! The hosts were so sweet. Hope to be back someday.
