Holiday rentals with a sauna in Montalcino

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour loin du bruit, en pleine campagne Toscane, à profiter de la piscine, du repos sur les transats, des appareils de sport , du calme, du bruit des oiseaux.... Situation idéale en Toscane pour la visite des lieux souhaités( Florence, Pise, Sienne, San giomagni, arezzo) avec une voiture , indispensable. Des supermarchés à proximité ( regello, figlini) et les Outleet , évidemment ! Vera et son mari étaient toujours disponibles dès que nécessaire et à répondre à nos demandes et questions. Séjour culturel et reposant au maximum.

Nota di merito all’host che ha fornito indicazioni precise per arrivare ad un parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze dell’alloggio evitando il centro storico con le zone a pagamento e sopratutto per la disponibilità ad accogliere qualche piccola richiesta da parte di noi ospiti! Consigliato!

This stunning Airbnb in Florence was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Every detail of the home was impeccably designed—from the beautifully ornate and comfortable bedrooms to the ice-cold air conditioning that was much appreciated after long days exploring the city. The location couldn’t be better. It’s within easy walking distance to all of Florence’s iconic sites, incredible restaurants, and tucked away just enough to be wonderfully quiet at night. But what truly set this stay apart was the incredible private spa room. We absolutely loved relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, and Turkish shower—it felt like our own luxury retreat in the heart of the city. The hospitality from the owner and her son was equally amazing. They welcomed us warmly at check-in and went above and beyond throughout our stay. As a wonderful bonus, they run a nearby farm in Tuscany where they offer cooking classes, truffle hunting, homemade olive oil, and it’s absolutely delicious! Absolutely unforgettable

We had a fantastic stay here with our two kids. Cosimo was very responsive and helpful, he helped us arrange car transfers from the Pisa airport and to our next destination in Tuscany. The apartment is beautiful, a great mix of old charm and modern amenities. Bathrooms had great water pressure and rain shower! Beds were super comfortable! He even left us some fresh bread from the bakery and sliced meats. A great host!! Walkable to everything in San Gimignano, but in a quiet, relaxing alley. I loved being close to the walled area so it was easy to get our luggage into the car less town. Tv was nice to watch Netflix. For our son. Beautiful courtyard. Would recommend and stay again!!

Una splendida ristrutturazione a due passi dal Duomo! Zona tranquilla, parcheggio non facile ma Barbara ha risolto il problema muovendosi in anticipo con grande disponibilità. Che dire, meglio di così sarebbe stato difficile. La mancanza di aria condizionata (host sta progettando di inserirla) è stata mitigata dal ventilatore messo a disposizione. La zona è comunque fresca nelle ore notturne. Impeccabile per pulizia e servizi (incluso pure gli spazzolini e piccoli oggetti da bagno che pochi offrono ma essenziali quando uno viaggia). Tappa obbligatoria per godersi una città magnifica... Consigliato a tutti 😎

We had a truly memorable stay at this apartment! The space is beautifully designed, combining modern amenities with classic Florentine charm. The location was ideal—close enough to walk to all the major sights, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area. One of the highlights was the stunning artwork throughout the apartment, which added so much character. After long days of exploring, we loved taking refreshing cold showers, relaxing in the steam sauna, and unwinding in the perfectly climate-controlled “room of knowledge.” The kitchen was fully equipped, and having the option for a Michelin Chef to cook for us was an amazing bonus. Our hosts, Pier and Rose, were exceptional, very helpful! They also have a travel company in Florence and organized fantastic tours for us tailored to our interests. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are looking forward to returning to Florence! I very highly recommend this place and hosts!

bellissimo appartamento, molto tranquillo e comodo, apprezzato molto la doccia bella grande e la bottiglia di prosecco di benvenuto, pulizia impeccabile grazie ancora

L'appartamento spicca per la posizione perfetta: vicinissimo al centro storico di Siena, tanto da poterlo raggiungere comodamente a piedi in 10', e abbastanza lontano dal traffico delle principali vie da poter godere della pace di una residenza in campagna. La cura nella pulizia e nella manutenzione della villa salta subito all'occhio, così come la cura nell'andare incontro alle richieste e le necessità dell'ospite (nel nostro caso in merito al check-in, le forniture per un bimbo piccolo, l'utilizzo della piscina fuori dagli orari stabiliti). Le dotazioni dell'appartamento sono andate oltre le nostre aspettative, abbiamo fatto buon uso di una macchina per il ghiaccio durante tutto il soggiorno e del gazebo con bbq. Struttura consigliatissima. PRO - Posizione strategica - Pulizia - Dotazioni della cucina - Host CONTRO - Materassi e reti dei letti singoli non proprio all'altezza del resto

Abbiamo alloggiato nel periodo di Capodanno. Il podere si trova immerso nelle colline toscane, perfetto per una fuga di relax e benessere/tranquillita. Nelle vicinanze sono presenti pochi servizi ma la zona è un ottimo compromesso per chi vuole fuggire dalla routine e allo stesso tempo visitare le zone più belle della Toscana (Montalcino, Valle D’orcia…). La struttura è in stile tipico toscano in sassi. L’appartamento in cui abbiamo alloggiato era adatto alle nostre esigenze, curato nell’arredo (semplice ma piacevole) e dotato di tutto il necessario. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la cordialità e le attenzioni che i proprietari ci hanno riservato all’arrivo e durante la permanenza, rendendosi disponibili per ogni cosa. Questa cura del dettaglio è emersa in diverse occasioni (per essmpio il cestino dí benvenuto con l’olio prodotto da loro, buonissimo). All’esterno sono presenti una sauna e una tinozza riscaldata, é stata un’esperienza da sogno: colline, vino, lanterne, aperitivo, braciere…

The apartment was a great location for our plans in Florence. We had an excellent time and the place was what we expected. Please note the washer/dryer is one unit but that is very common in Europe and it operated well. We did need to hang dry several items, but there was a drying rack provided. The AC units for the bedrooms and living room worked excellent and there were CEILING FANS in the bedroom and living room! We knew we had steps but during check in they provided help with the luggage. The check in process was easy and they meet us at the apartment to ensure we understood how to operate everything.

io e la mia compagna per il primo maggio abbiamo deciso di soggiornare in questa struttura da favola. Situata in un palazzo storico a castiglion fiorentino (paesino molto più carino di quello ci aspettassimo, visto che il nostro obiettivo era arezzo raggiungibile in 20-30 min) la stanza era veramente incantevole, grande ed arredata con cura.. vasca idromassaggio enorme.. e poi la sauna in camera è stato veramente un plus in più... a disposizione minifrigo con acqua brioche muffin marmellate e altri dolcetti..infine voto 10 alla gentilezza e la premura di fabiana che insieme a suo marito ci hanno accompagnato dal parcheggio alla struttura descrivendo tutto con passione e precisione.....bottiglia di prosecco di benvenuto offerta all'arrivo... che dire..grazie 🙂👋

Het was geweldig! Ilario is de perfecte gastheer, er zijn geweldige restaurants in de buurt en de omgeving is heerlijk rustig.

Ostern war natürlich ein Risiko mit dem Wetter. Dann haben wir die Villa gefunden. Mit 33 Grad beheizten Pool - genau die Lösung. Großer wohn und Ess Bereich mit ebenso großzügigen Terrassen. Genügend liegen Handtücher alles prima. Nicht mit den Sportwagen kommen (die letzte Meile ist Schotterpiste und auf die Stufen zu den Schlafräumen einstellen. Dann die Ruhe und die Aussicht genießen! Das Abendessen in der Ölmühle is sein Geld und den Weg wert. 11 Tage gingen zu schnell vorbei.

Posto incantevole per chi cerca tranquillità e riposo immerso nel verde di una natura incontaminata. Anja è una persona veramente gentile e cortese sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile a dare ottimi suggerimenti sul posto. La prima mattina mi sono ritrovata un cerbiatto nel guardino… meraviglioso!

Wow — I couldn’t recommend this villa more! My friends and I stayed at Rosella’s villa for 5 nights and had the best time. The villa was beautiful, exactly as described in the listing — clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Rosella was the most amazing host — she went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. She and her team were always happy to help with any questions, and even gave us lifts to the station multiple times. I’d definitely recommend this villa and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and private farmhouse in Chianti. The setting is peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our group of 10 adults and 4 toddlers were all very comfortably accommodated. Ann and Maurizio were exceptional hosts—their attention to detail really made the stay special. From the cozy rooms to the thoughtfully arranged common areas, everything was just right. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which made cooking for our large group a breeze. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the charm of the Tuscan countryside in a quiet and well-cared-for home.

We had a great stay. The house matches the description very well and is perfectly equipped. Consuelo was super responsive and helpful and even brought us some olive oil and lettuce from the farm ☺️

Overall the location and charm of the property were stunning. Spacious bedrooms and living areas (beware uneven flooring, to be expected in an old farmhouse, my elderly father struggled). NOTE: we have not been asked for a cash deposit with Airbnb before and were surprised when a man came about 3 hours after we arrived to collect €400 cash. He spoke no English and used his phone to call someone who could speak to me. The host had not said he would be coming, or who he was. I contacted Airbnb support who said I could pay through the resolution centre. As others mentioned, there were no oil, salt, pepper etc, although a few dishwasher tablets. The jacuzzi and sauna work with tokens for €8 each. Didn’t use so not sure how long you get. BUT, this is a stunning property with unbeatable views in the heart of Tuscany, tucked away on a hillside down a gravel track. Would definitely book again. Pool is pristine, towels spotless, beds comfortable.

Het verblijf 'Casa Elisa' was beter dan we hadden verwacht. Het is een groot huis met zelfs een kelder met sauna. Het zwembad in de tuin (met buitendouche en toilet) en het huis zelf waren brandschoon. Er was geen stofje of spinnenweb te ontdekken (zelfs niet achter een kast die wij verschoven om bij een stopcontact te kunnen). Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was adembenemend en de omgeving was fantastisch. Je bent zo in plaatsjes zoals Siena, Arezzo, Perugia en er is vlakbij ook een groot meer waar wij een dag een bootje hebben gehuurd (aanrader). Kortom, we kunnen het iedereen aanraden om bij Lorenzo te boeken. De communicatie met Lorenzo was ook uitstekend, goed te bereiken via app en spreekt goed Engels. Zijn vader komt elke dag even het zwembad checken en schoonmaken en zijn moederdag heel lief een heerlijke taart gebakken.

Really lovely villa. The pool is a good size and even bigger the the photos suggest. Very peaceful in a beautiful setting. You are in the middle of nowhere which worked for us as we had a car so ventured out to some lovely restaurants and even caught the train to Florence from Montevarchi one day. The town is just a 10minute drive away where there’s a large Lidl and Coop. Local village only 5minutes drive with a tiny coffee bar and small Coop. Thanks so much for a wonderful week in the sun! Highly recommend.
