Cottage holiday rentals in Mont-Saint-Hilaire

Excellent stay in a beautiful home, surrounded by nature and snow. Lea was very reponsive and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful area and gorgeous home that is meticulously maintained! If you want a place to stay that is away from it all you can’t bear this home. It was very clean. There is Owls Head golf course just down the road which is beautiful with spectacular view and a great restaurant. There is a small grocery store very close in Mansonville along with a nice coffee shop and another great restaurant. Honestly just driving around the dirt roads in Mansonville, Potton and Highwater will literally take your breath away, the views are unmatched. There is plenty to do within 30-60 minutes (especially if you like the outdoors) but why would you ever want to leave this place. If you need somewhere to get away and clear your head look no further, this is it!

Nous sommes allés avec des amis et nos chiens pour une compétition canine à Brome et, l’emplacement , la maison ancestrale avec son cachet extraordinaire, la grande cour arrière avec le spa, la superbe galerie couverte qui fait la façade en plus du côté droit de la maison , etc…bref, tout était parfait et nous allons certainement y retourner l’an prochain ! Merci milles fois aux propriétaires qui ont étés disponibles rapidement pour une petite question à notre arrivée 🥰

Chalet très agréable. Super bien aménagé pour les enfants (jeux, balançoire, petits lits, etc). Spacieux (autant pour une famille que deux familles). Très belle vue sur le lac. Plusieurs espaces séparés dans le chalet (salon à l’étage, au rez de chaussée, solarium….) qui permet de s’isoler facilement des enfants pour relaxer :). Deux petits points à noter: quand nous étions, très grande quantité de coccinelles à l’étage, un peu désagréable de devoir regarder où on met les pieds pour ne pas marcher dessus (probablement la saison qui explique ceci, pas dramatique juste un peu désagréable) + l’eau du robinet qui est très très ferreuse et donc a mauvais goût (prévoir d’apporter des bouteilles d’eau si ça dérange). A part ça super séjour!

It was a beautiful place. Me and my family started renting every year 3 years ago and this is by far the best experience we had. We will definately try to come back again next year. The people were so nice with us. If you want to have a little weekend between friends or in familly, there's enough space inside and outside to enjoy every moment there. We highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family + dogs. House was great and fully stocked with everday supplies and needs. Plenty of room for whole family with great fenced in yard and veiw of Lake Champlain. Enjoyed, fishing kayaking and using the SUP's available. Would definitely recommend and come here again.😊

Si vous avez une crainte concernant le fait que la propriétaire demeure sur place, n'hésitez pas ; elle est très discrète. Le lit au rez-de-chaussé n'est vraiment pas confortable. Aussi, le lit, qui a un pied de lit, ne l'est pas. C'est un coin tranquille malgré les voisins qui sont proches. Prendre le café sur la terrasse et l'apéro sur le quai, c'est vraiment agréable.

Fantastic cottage! Gorgeous, private and peaceful location, with easy access to Mont Sutton and the village. The cottage is beautifully renovated, with a large open living space. Lots of natural light and the cottage was spotless. Ashley and Eric are wonderful hosts. Would not hesitate to rent again! Thank you!

Très bon emplacement, le village est a 10 minutes de marche, le restaurant du village le lyvano est excellent! La vue du boisée derrière et le petit feu rendent la maison très paisible. Les instructions donner dans le texte d'arrivée étaient très claires et très utiles. Nous avons adoré l'ambiance créer par la boule disco ✨️ *Le vignoble orpeilleurs et la cidrerie rougement fut nos préféré de la région *La petite boutique Oneka, pleins de produits naturels, vaut le détour

Le chalet bénéficie d’un emplacement stratégique : bien qu’entouré de verdure et parfaitement isolé, il se trouve à seulement quelques minutes de la municipalité d’Eastman, où l’on retrouve tous les services essentiels (pharmacie, épicerie fine, supermarché Tradition, petites boutiques locales, etc.). A quelques kilomètres de là se trouve la célèbre boulangerie Dora, une véritable institution depuis plus de 50 ans, notamment reconnue pour ses beignes. On y trouve également de délicieux plats préparés de type cuisine familiale, que nous avons testés avec plaisir. Le chalet lui-même est impeccablement entretenu, très bien équipé et particulièrement confortable. Les lits sont douillets, l’aménagement intérieur est à la fois fonctionnel et chaleureux. L’atmosphère générale invite à la détente — parfaite pour une véritable cure de sommeil. Nous avons pleinement profité du confort intérieur.

We spent Easter here with my daughter, a friend and our 2 dogs. While the exterior and ground floor (still under construction) feel a bit run-down, the first floor is full of personal touches and has a homely vibe.The wooden fireplace, reading/play area with books and games (separate from the living room), and well-equipped kitchen are great for families or larger groups.The house includes strong Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, dishwasher, extra towels, and flexible check-in/out and is spotless !A lovely café, supermarket, and convenience store are just a 5-15 minute walk away. It’s a quiet town, but Knowlton is only 25 minutes by car. We cooked a lot, relaxed on the veranda overlooking the river, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Note: no A/C and the river can be loud (though inaudible with windows closed). There was a small leak from the bathtub that the owner said he will take care off, house generally needs some small renos. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back weekend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Louise's chalet! The house is just as gorgeous as it seems in the photos. It's surrounded on all sides by beautiful trees, and we were able to appreciate the views from every room, thanks to all the windows. We loved being able to explore the nearby towns of Sutton and Knowlton. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, and Louise was super friendly and responsive to every question we had. We definitely plan to come back again!

J'ai passé un séjour très agréable. La maison est joliment décoré et il y avait tout ce dont on peut avoir de besoin. Les lits étaient invitants et confortable. L'hôte a été généreuse dans ses recommandations. Elle était toujours disponible et agréable. Je reviendrai dans cet endroit magnifique.

Endroit tres propre et calme. On avait toute ce qu'on avait besoin pour préparer nos repas. Tres proche de Magog et Orford. Grand terrain en arrière pour jouer avec notre chien. Vicent etait a l'écoute et nous a repondu tres vite a nos besoins. Je recommande.

Chantal’s place is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The house is nestled in the quaint little village of Knowlton, which is the inspiration used for the setting in Louise Penny’s series of murder mystery novels. It was great fun eating and shopping in and around the town we imagined to be the village of Three Pines from the books. This is a perfect place to stay for all you fans coming to do the Louise Penny tour.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Owl's Hollow. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. A convenient location for us as we wanted to ski all four mountains in the Eastern Townships and from here none were more than 35 minutes drive. Well equipped kitchen made mealtime a dream and the place was super comfortable. My youngest loved the Hogwarts room so much she slept in there all week (very cozy :-)) We would recommend this place to anyone, and will try look it up again should we venture to the Townships again. Five stars all around. Craig

Nous étions là pour le travail L'endroit est chaleureux et les chambres sont confortables Nous avons apprécié le foyer et la vue sur le lac Prudence sur les chemins pour y aller , ça brasse et vire un peu Merci 🙂

This was a beautiful place to stay! The yard with the pond was lovely. The house was clean and comfortable, with enough space for all of our family. I appreciated the recommendations of where to visit, we enjoyed the bakery and the Fromagerie nearby. Very enjoyable stay!

This was our third year going to Maryse's place. It's simply stunning and so peaceful, the perfect place to recharge our batteries. I'm already looking forward to taking my family there next year!

Chalet idéalement placé !! A seulement qq minutes de marche des commerces et de la rue principale donc très pratique. Rue et logement très calme avec une très belle vue sur les monts enneigés 😍 Foyer intérieur qui réchauffe bien le salon...bois en masse à disposition. La literie était très bonne. Je conseille vivement cette location 👍

I booked Leo’s place for my family to stay at. It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for our stay including an iron, ironing board, duvets, towels, washing machine/dryer, and shower toiletries. Leo was very friendly and easy to communicate with! The house is stocked with coffee and supplies to cook, eat, and drink with. Our only small complaint was that it does not sleep 8 as stated (6 at best). There are three beds (1king, 2queen, and a pullout). The pullout couch was not truly a bed in our opinion it was just two thick pillows that fold down and the top half is not soft as it is a hard base. Our one family member who is 6ft did NOT sleep comfortably on this. There were also no sheets provided for it and the design prevents a mattress sheet anyways. Overall extremely pleased, we mentioned a few minor things to Leo and he had them fixed immediately. We would definitely return in the future, and just bring our air mattress, the pullout is truly unfit for sleeping
