Excellent stay in a beautiful home, surrounded by nature and snow. Lea was very reponsive and helpful.

We went with friends and our dogs for a dog competition in Brome and, the location, the ancestral house with its extraordinary character, the large backyard with the spa, the superb covered gallery that makes the facade in addition to the right side of the house, etc...in short, everything was perfect and we will certainly return next year! Thank you a thousand times to the owners who were available quickly for a small question on our arrival 🥰

great stay with family, the cottage is beautiful and it felt like home. The common areas are spacious and we were able to take the opportunity to spend Christmas. the SPA is a real plus

Very pleasant cottage. Super well appointed for children (games, swing, small beds, etc.). Spacious (for one family as well as two families). Very nice lake view. Several separate spaces in the chalet (upstairs lounge, ground floor, solarium...) that makes it easy to isolate children to relax:). Two small points to note: when we were, very large amount of ladybugs upstairs, a little unpleasant to have to look where we set foot so as not to step on it (probably the season that explains this, not dramatic just a little unpleasant) + the tap water which is very very very ferrous and therefore has bad taste (plan to bring water bottles if it bothers). Other than that, great stay!

It was a beautiful place. Me and my family started renting every year 3 years ago and this is by far the best experience we had. We will definately try to come back again next year. The people were so nice with us. If you want to have a little weekend between friends or in familly, there's enough space inside and outside to enjoy every moment there. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay a Hôtel À La Maison’s place in West Bolton, just a short drive East of Knowlton. The property felt secluded and private, even for being near the road. The simple cottage was nice inside and we felt comfortable and at home during our entire stay. The back dining room was wonderful for remote work, with a views of the forest and the sounds of birds. Hôtel À La Maison was very helpful, and gave us a recommendation for getting our vehicle's tire plugged. We were sad to leave, as we could see ourselves staying the entire week. We will keep this place on the top of our list when visiting the area in the future.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family + dogs. House was great and fully stocked with everday supplies and needs. Plenty of room for whole family with great fenced in yard and veiw of Lake Champlain. Enjoyed, fishing kayaking and using the SUP's available. Would definitely recommend and come here again.😊

If you have any concerns about the owner staying on site, don't hesitate; she is very discreet. The bed on the ground floor is really not comfortable. Also, the bed, which has a footboard, is not. It's a quiet area despite the neighbors who are close. Having coffee on the terrace and an aperitif on the dock is really nice.

We had a lovely stay at the Whimsy Cottage for a weekend ski trip at Jay Peak ~15 mins away. The cottage was comfortable with lots of space, kitchen amenities for cooking, and appreciated the extra linens/ bedding. Located right off the highway, but was not too noisy at night except for the occasional passing of cars. Enjoyed the easy access of the gas station/ deli across the street for breakfast sandwiches and limited groceries. Sarita was a very responsive and friendly host, would recommend.

Fantastic cottage! Gorgeous, private and peaceful location, with easy access to Mont Sutton and the village. The cottage is beautifully renovated, with a large open living space. Lots of natural light and the cottage was spotless. Ashley and Eric are wonderful hosts. Would not hesitate to rent again! Thank you!

The chalet enjoys a strategic location: although surrounded by greenery and perfectly isolated, it is only a few minutes from the municipality of Eastman, where you will find all the essential services (pharmacy, delicatessen, Tradition supermarket, small local shops, etc.). A few kilometers away is the famous Dora bakery, a true institution for more than 50 years, especially known for its donuts. There are also delicious prepared dishes of the family cuisine type, which we have tested with pleasure. The chalet itself is impeccably maintained, very well-equipped and particularly comfortable. The beds are cozy, the interior design is both functional and warm. The general atmosphere invites relaxation — perfect for a real sleep cure. We fully enjoyed the interior comfort.

We spent Easter here with my daughter, a friend and our 2 dogs. While the exterior and ground floor (still under construction) feel a bit run-down, the first floor is full of personal touches and has a homely vibe.The wooden fireplace, reading/play area with books and games (separate from the living room), and well-equipped kitchen are great for families or larger groups.The house includes strong Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, dishwasher, extra towels, and flexible check-in/out and is spotless !A lovely café, supermarket, and convenience store are just a 5-15 minute walk away. It’s a quiet town, but Knowlton is only 25 minutes by car. We cooked a lot, relaxed on the veranda overlooking the river, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Note: no A/C and the river can be loud (though inaudible with windows closed). There was a small leak from the bathtub that the owner said he will take care off, house generally needs some small renos. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back weekend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Louise's chalet! The house is just as gorgeous as it seems in the photos. It's surrounded on all sides by beautiful trees, and we were able to appreciate the views from every room, thanks to all the windows. We loved being able to explore the nearby towns of Sutton and Knowlton. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, and Louise was super friendly and responsive to every question we had. We definitely plan to come back again!

Very clean and quiet place. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Very close to Magog and Orford. Great field behind to play with our dog. Vicent was attentive and responded very quickly to our needs. I would recommend it.

Chantal’s place is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The house is nestled in the quaint little village of Knowlton, which is the inspiration used for the setting in Louise Penny’s series of murder mystery novels. It was great fun eating and shopping in and around the town we imagined to be the village of Three Pines from the books. This is a perfect place to stay for all you fans coming to do the Louise Penny tour.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Owl's Hollow. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. A convenient location for us as we wanted to ski all four mountains in the Eastern Townships and from here none were more than 35 minutes drive. Well equipped kitchen made mealtime a dream and the place was super comfortable. My youngest loved the Hogwarts room so much she slept in there all week (very cozy :-)) We would recommend this place to anyone, and will try look it up again should we venture to the Townships again. Five stars all around. Craig

This was a beautiful place to stay! The yard with the pond was lovely. The house was clean and comfortable, with enough space for all of our family. I appreciated the recommendations of where to visit, we enjoyed the bakery and the Fromagerie nearby. Very enjoyable stay!

Ideally located cottage!! Just a few minutes' walk to shops and the main street so very convenient. Very quiet street and accommodation with a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. 😍 Indoor fireplace that warms the living room well... solid wood available. The bedding was very good. I would highly recommend this rental 👍

I booked Leo’s place for my family to stay at. It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for our stay including an iron, ironing board, duvets, towels, washing machine/dryer, and shower toiletries. Leo was very friendly and easy to communicate with! The house is stocked with coffee and supplies to cook, eat, and drink with. Our only small complaint was that it does not sleep 8 as stated (6 at best). There are three beds (1king, 2queen, and a pullout). The pullout couch was not truly a bed in our opinion it was just two thick pillows that fold down and the top half is not soft as it is a hard base. Our one family member who is 6ft did NOT sleep comfortably on this. There were also no sheets provided for it and the design prevents a mattress sheet anyways. Overall extremely pleased, we mentioned a few minor things to Leo and he had them fixed immediately. We would definitely return in the future, and just bring our air mattress, the pullout is truly unfit for sleeping

Anna's place was very comfortable, we felt right at home, the living area is very nice, the kitchen is particularly well furbished and the garden is beautiful. Anna always replied right away when we wrote to her. Unfortunately for us the weather was terrible and we asked for an early check in , and later for a late check out, each time in order to be able to have lunch at the place, but we did not ask soon enough and it has not been possible. So if you plan for a extra meal at the cottage, be organized and ask in advance.
