Gateway Cottages are clean, safe, affordable, basic and environmental friendly accommodation situated on the Gateway Transformation Campus, Chirombo village, Monkey Bay, Malawi. Follow the M10 from Mangochi to Cape MacClear, and turn right at the turn-off the Cape MacClear at the Engergen Filling station on your left. Turn right on the gravel road into the village towards the Lake. Find our sign board 2 km from the turn off on the left, Gateway Transformation Center/Guesthouse.

Mtendere Cottage

Warm Heart Adventure Lodge is a small beach front bed and breakfast in Cape Maclear. With a variety of accommodation in a cottage, chalets, dorm room and a campsite Mtendere, Is our Self-catered Beach front cottage. It is an open plan studio cottage with a small kitchenette (Small stove & oven, stand up fridge & freezer, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates, cutlery & crockery) It Sleeps 4 in a Double Bed & a bunk bed. Lake Malawi - Mbondo Cottage @Namaso Bay

Mbondo Cottage is located on one of the most tranquil bays along Lake Malawi’s western shores offering perfect sunrises. Wake up to birdsong and fishermen coming in with their catch in time for a lunch of Chambo (tilapia), take a walk along the beautiful beach. The shallow waters of the shoreline also offer some relaxing swimming. Catch a drink as the sun sets. Trips to Lake Malawi National Park and Cape Maclear can be arranged.

The Beach House, lake front in Cape Maclear

The Beach House is ideal for family getaways or get-togethers with friends! Set on the lake front, this spacious double-storey reed house accommodates up to 8 people. Self-catered with a fully equipped kitchen, hot water, braai/BBQ facilities, secure parking for 2 cars, day-time staff to assist and clean, and night watchman. There is now a supermarket in the village a short walk from the Beach House.
