A perfect place to stay between Blantyre & Chileka

Right in between Chileka International Airport (12 minutes) and Blantyre city centre (15 minutes) in close vicinity of Kameza roundabout from where you can depart to the Central and Northern Region. Two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and separate entries, lovely garden and cozy lounge. Perfect for both short and long stays. Note that this is Malawi: We have frequent power and water cuts. We mitigate these with our PV and thermal solar system and a 5,000 litre water tank as much as we can.

I've stayed at Chinyonga before and will stay again. It's beautiful, low-key and friendly. The pool is awesome after a hot day and a hot walk up the steep hill! (Don't worry, you can get a taxi if you'd rather -- I just like to walk.)

We had a wonderful stay with Annemarie! From the warm welcome to the thoughtful attention to detail, everything was well-prepared and comfortable. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and met all our needs. Annemarie was also very accommodating with requests, including adjusting our breakfast time and assisting with arrangements. If you're looking for a place with great service and a host who genuinely cares, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

This was my second month-long stay - I really appreciate this lovely place just four doors down from the Kachione/solar4africa/Affordable Solar for Villagers' workshop where I volunteer. The other guests - mostly medical interns with long-term rental agreements - were interesting people. The Camp Henry staff: Adi, Martha, Ruth and Wycliff, are thoughtful and kind. I look forward to the completion of the back guest house, which will add further options for guest accommodations.

Villa Octopus was a great place to stay with wonderful hospitality, close proximity to downtown, and cleanliness. They served a large and very good complementary breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.

Gladys's home provided the much need rest, comfort and security needed after lots of traveling. I was visiting physician coming to support teaching at the medical college. Gladys's home was close to the university as well as other fun and tasty restaurants such as Millie's Bakery and Mijn Kitchen. Gladys was able to assist with making travel arrangements around town. She was also kind to check in on power availability during black outs and checked on me often to make sure I was ok, safe and comfortable during Cyclone Freddy. Her home is very clean, has a self catering kitchen, and back up power. A perfect place to stay long or short term. Highly recommend.
