Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Monflanquin

Very nice house, tastefully decorated in a quiet and relaxing environment. Matthias is responsive and did everything for our comfort and to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We highly recommend this rental, thank you Matthias!

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Gorgeous little spot for a week away. We had such a lovely time, the children loved the pool and the area is beautiful with lots to do. The house is lovely and very well equipped, the only thing that let the place down was that all of the pillows are /so thin & flat, and it’s pretty much like sleeping with no pillows. For the money we paid this just let the place down for me a little, a good nights sleep is quite essential on holiday. Minus that, the place is perfect.

We were very satisfied with our stay in Penne d'Agenais, a town that my wife wanted to introduce to our friends. The accommodation is very well located, very nicely decorated, comfortable and allows relaxation: an address that we will remember for a future visit to the city. As for the hosts (Guillaume and Romélie) they are very responsive and respond effectively to the questions we had to ask them: thank you to them!

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

Great stay at Isa and Ridwan's. Very good communication. Impeccable apartment, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay there. Recommended!

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

Excellent stay at La Grenouille qui siffle, clean accommodation, well-equipped, comfortable bedding, very pleasant environment in the middle of nature, quiet and peaceful. Responsive and available hosts. The central geographical positioning allows easy access to all tourist places in the region.

Wow, this place was truly fantastic. The photos do not do it justice as it is much more beautiful in real life. There are amazing views out the large windows in the living area. The terrace gets a lot of sun and is very peaceful. One double bedroom is bigger than the other but both have ample space (more than the photos suggest). It was all very clean. Marie-Claude was there to meet us in person and seemed very kind. She was easily contactable during our stay. Merci beaucoup!

Charming cottage ideal for spending a few quiet days, close to many activities, restaurant, shops and hiking trail! Recommended!!

It was a return to our roots. The location of the cottage is very good. The cottage is very well equipped and super pretty. Parking space is really a plus.

Walter is a very welcoming host. This place is simply perfect to be able to enjoy the calm of nature while also being able to enjoy a gym garage (small, very well-equipped Crossfit room), a ping pong table, going outdoors or a beautiful swimming pool. For the latter I will come back to enjoy the sunny days I would highly recommend it for a couple

This Villa was perfect in every way for our short stay. It is a beautifully appointed villa with a fantastic garden & pool area. Ideal for the family to just relax in the surroundings and enjoy. Pure bliss and highly recommended.

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Airbnb. Our host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with some very appreciated treats. We enjoyed relaxing outside by the pool which was surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our host was very responsive when communicating with us. We appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail this home provided.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

We had a short stay at Pierre's but it was successful. The accommodation is nice and we slept well. Pierre was receptive to our request for late arrival because of the big traffic jams encountered on the highway Friday night, the day before the extended weekend. Just one small downside, we only communicated via the Airbnb site, fortunately downloaded on the phone, which is not super simple when you don't have alerts like me. You have to log in to the mailbox or the Airbnb website each time. I'm a little disappointed that Pierre didn't give me his cell phone number, it would have been easier and more friendly. This is the first time in my many Airbnb rentals. I was a little surprised that my request for a phone number remained unanswered. We arrived late and left early the day after and had no direct contact, unfortunately.

We had a lovely week here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and the house is great- inside and out but especially the garden and pool. Our kids loved it!

We had an amazing 6 days. We adored the gite and we made friends with the chickens, the cat and a local dog. It’s amazing for children. And yet so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place

We had a great time in this atypical and charming house. Very well-equipped, comfortable and perfectly in line with the listing. A real little cocoon, ideal for recharging. Responsive and welcoming host. We'll be happy to go back!
