Family-friendly holiday rentals in Monção

Gostaríamos de agradecer ao Arquitecto Paulo Gomes pela simpatia e atenção com que fomos recebidos na sua magnífica moradia em Monção, através da plataforma Airbnb. Foram dias verdadeiramente bem passados, num espaço fantástico onde não faltou nada. A moradia apresenta excelentes condições, que superaram as nossas expectativas, proporcionando momentos únicos de conforto e lazer. Como uma sugestão construtiva, e com todo o respeito, acreditamos que poderia ser ainda mais agradável se os anfitriões nos deixassem ligeiramente mais à vontade, evitando circular pela casa enquanto o nosso grupo estivesse presente. De qualquer forma, esta é apenas uma recomendação leve, pois todo o restante foi simplesmente fantástico. Reiteramos os nossos agradecimentos e deixamos os parabéns pela maravilhosa moradia e pela hospitalidade.

A nossa estadia foi ótima! Tudo conforme descrito, apartamento muito acolhedor e perto de tudo! Elisabeth & Eduardo são pessoas muitos amáveis e prontas a ajudar em qualquer dúvida! Certamente um dia iremos voltar! Recomendo vivamente! Obrigado!

A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Le airbnb était aussi beau que décrit dans l'annonce, tout a été pensé dans les détails. Nous avons apprécié les nombreuses recommandations et la visite guidée de l'écurie offerte par Cheila. Profiter du jacuzzi en écoutant les oiseaux au milieu de la nature était incroyable. Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible où déconnecter ce lieu est fait pour vous ! Ce airbnb mérite amplement 5 étoiles même si j'ai été attaqué par le chien du propriétaire à notre arrivée, en marchant vers ce que je croyais l'endroit pour récupérer les clefs de la location. Heureusement le chien était attaché au bout d'une chaîne et je m'en suis sortie "seulement" avec quelques égratignures, des bleus et un pantalon déchiré, que Cheila m'a remboursé. Ma seule remarque serait donc d'ajouter une petite pancarte pour signaler le chien qui m'a prise par surprise. Malgré cet incident je recommanderais ce airbnb et y reviendrais avec plaisir.

Espaço incrível! Perfeito para uns dias de descanso, rodeados pela natureza. É exatamente como nas fotos. Vale mesmo a pena passar uns dias aqui. E não podíamos pedir melhor anfitriã, super disponível e acolhedora. Iremos de certeza voltar!

We had a wonderful stay with our family with two young children. Esteban was so accommodating and provided us all the amenities we needed for our children to make our stay comfortable and child friendly such as a stair gate, step stool, before we arrived. We arrived very late in the evening and Esteban waited for us and had bought us some essentials to eat and milk for our toddler. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus and a welcome escape from the heat. The most beautiful beaches were a 5 minute drive away as were all local convenience stores. Esteban was always available if we needed any advice or recommendations and was quick to answer to help. A fabulous host! Wish we had stayed longer!

Acesso relativamente fácil ( estradas de montanha) ,localizada numa pequena aldeia a 5 min de carro de um supermercado e cafés/pizzaria ,casa de pedra toda remodelada por dentro, cozinha equipada, sala bem decorada, uma varanda grande com uma vista espetacular e um piscina muito fixe de agua geladinha.

Liebe Ana, vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub bei Euch. Ihr seid sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist wie eine kleine Oase im Norden Portugals. Es entspricht vollkommen der Beschreibung und ist für zwei Personen völlig ausreichend. Wir können die Unterkunft nur bestens empfehlen. Bis ganz bestimmt bald wieder. Stefan

3 nuits de rêve dans cet environnement propice au lâcher prise , village typique du parc naturel, boulangerie/épicerie ouverte tard avec un super accueil, de magnifiques randonnées à faire et un logement atypique où l on se sent à l'aise avec une vue extraordinaire. Nous recommandons ce lieu pour les amoureux des beautés naturelles.

Local ideal para relaxar e contemplar a natureza.

Alquilamos esta casa para diez personas y hemos pasado un fin de semana fantástico! La casa estaba impecable y era incluso más bonita en directo que en las fotos. La zona de la piscina es simplemente fantástica, a parte de estar muy bien pensada para disfrutar de ella. La piscina estaba súper limpia y bien cuidada, además nos dejaron algunas toallas de piscina por si necesitábamos. Las habitaciones y baños fantásticos, la cocina genial y super espaciosa....un diez de la verdad. Los espacios comunes son múltiples y muy amplios, de forma que pudimos estar todos juntos cómodamente. A parte la anfitriona fue súper amable y flexible con nosotros en todo momento, así que muchas gracias a ella. Una maravilla.

Casa perfectamente equipada y decorada con mucho gusto en pleno corazón de las Rías Baixas. Zona residencial y tranquila. Las fotografías no hacen justicia a las vistas desde el balcón que son una maravilla. Rosario es una excelente anfitriona, atenta y amable, nos dió multitud de indicaciones y recomendaciones para que nos faltase de nada.

excellent stay, only issue was with sleeping as the double bed mattress had plastic wrapping which can be noisy. no washing machine. Definitely would stay again.

La casa ya parecía preciosa en fotos pero al estar allí aún era más espectacular, de ensueño, los anfitriones eran súper atentos y nos sentimos muy cuidados.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

We enjoyed ourselves very much! The place is lovely, very good for relaxing and listening to the birds! Definitely recommend! 😊

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Vi havde et vidunderligt ophold i Stefan og Lilian. De sødeste værter! Huset og stedet er endnu skønnere i virkeligheden end på billederne. Et perfekt sted at komme helt ned i tempo. Værterne dyrker de lækreste grøntsager, som man kan købe af dem. De varmeste anbefalinger herfra.

Das Haus mit Garten, Hühnern, Katzen und Truthähne kamen uns vor wie ein kleines Paradies. Unglaublich charmant haben wir den Pool genossen und konnten mit der Ausstattung lecker kochen. Es ist unglaublich grün in der Gegend und ein Bad im Fluss (Lima) war eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um in die Berge zu fahren oder an die Küste, ebenso süße Städtchen drumherum und auch nicht weit von Porto entfernt. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und waren alle total zufrieden. Genießt den Ort und die Zeit dort, es fällt gar nicht schwer.

Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!

El alojamiento es acogedor y bonito. Lo encontramos muy limpio. Jardín cuidado y agradable, para disfrutarlo. Buena ubicación para moverse por la zona. Fidel responde rápido y está pendiente, si es que lo necesitas. Para repetir.

Gostámos muito do espaço. Ideal para quem procura uma estadia tranquila. A piscina é muito boa, a temperatura da água estava ótima. Quanto aos anfitriões foram amigáveis, deram boas sugestões de restaurantes locais. Recomendo e espero regressar no futuro.
