Post Cabin

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Lovely cottage

Forget the worries, enjoy long lovely days in this lovely cottage by beautiful Tyrifjorden. Here you are vacationing both rural and central at the same time. Oslo 40 min away, the fjord on the plot, golf course 5 min away and not to mention Krokskogen with lovely ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin is newly rehabilitated and is a great custom to come back to after active days out. No water! Drinking water comes in cans (arranged by host), water for washing is collected in the fjord. Log house in rural surroundings near Vikersund. The house sleeps 5 people in 1 bedroom with a bunk bed and a sofa bed in the living room. There is a small kitchen with hobs, a small stove as well as a fridge and freezer. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is located on a farm with good parking facilities. Short distance to the river with fishing and swimming facilities, Blaafargeværket (about 10 min drive), Vikersundbakken (10 min drive), Furumo swimming facility (approx. 10 min drive).

Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, swimming, fishing and cross-country skiing. At the same time sightseeing and restaurants in Oslo are nearby. The cottage is luxurious and fully equipped with top facilities + WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

The cottage is located on the beachfront and has 2 secluded outdoor areas with barbecue/bonfire pan, large terrace with dining area where you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. The cabin has 2 bedrooms (double bed and bunk bed). The kitchen is equipped but coffee maker, stove, oven, micro and keel-freeze combi. Rental of SUP and kanu for an additional fee. That's good 4G coverage. Feel free to ask for a price for a whole week or a whole weekend :-)

Just 800 meters away you have a campground with a restaurant and a 24 hours open grossery store. You park your car right beside and walk down to the tent and beach.
