Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Modum Municipality

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Nice House. Quiet place. If possible - We Will come back another time.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei Ingar. Ingar war sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die gemütliche Stube mit Kamin, die Sauna am Fluss und die Kanus sind absolute Highlights. Perfekt für ein paar Tage Abschalten.

Vi var 3 stk som bodde der fra søndag til torsdag. Et behagelig opphold med alt vi trengte. Kan anbefales!

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Kjempeflott leilighet, bra beliggenhet uten noe støy fra resten av byen. Kristoffer var veldig hyggelig og svarte alltid kjapt og var veldig hjelpsom. Anbefaler denne leiligheten sterkt.

Dette hjemmet dufter deilig, og er utrolig pen. Fantastisk bruk av trematerialer. Nydelig hage. Al og Ingrid var kjempe fine verter. Min yngste fikk til og med mate hønene i hagen. Det var stor stas. Tusen takk for oppholdet. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Verten ga oss all informasjon vi trengte. Super beliggenhet og fin leilighet. Rent, alt kjøkkenutstyr du trenger og nok håndklær og såper osv. Helt supert!

Supert opphold med super beliggenhet! Leiligheten hadde alt av det vi trengte. Med svært kort vei til skibakken kunne ungene gå å renne litt alene i tallerkenheisen rett ved, mens vi voksne kledde og gjorde oss klare for dagen. Kort kjøreavstand til matbutikk. Vi trivdes kjempegodt og kommer gjerne tilbake!

great location but quiet. Comfortable beds (that's always important). it even has a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Marie är en toppenvärd som var extremt hjälpsam med allting. Lägenheten ligger i ett bra område, nära Holmenkollen så man kunde promenera dit. Men även tunnelbanan fanns runt hörnet för att smidigt ta sig. Bra med parkering och möjlighet att ladda bilen! Uppskattas! Rekommenderar.

Fantastisk flott plass. Idyllisk beliggenhet ved Steinsfjorden. Koselig hytte med litt mer moderne Anneks. Det å våkne opp i Soverommet på Anneks med Stort Vindu/dør rett ut mot fjorden var flott. Eneste minus var at man måtte ha med sengeklær og vaske etter seg. Litt uvant fra tidligere opplevelser med Airbnb. Men Vert informerte heldigvis om dette før vi dro hjemmefra. Kunne godt ha tenkt oss en tur tilbake ved senere anledning:)

Simply my favourite Airbnb. Nora’s place is the perfect Norway getaway, lakeside cabin - full of charm, taste, comfort, and warmth. The view is stunning. The nearby hotel has a great gym and spa too. Nora was so, so helpful!The absolute dream! Thanks so much Nora.

Idyllisk, fredfullt og nydelig sted. Skjermet fra veien og andre hytter, kjempefin inngjerdet tomt som grenser ned mot vannet med koselig uteplass nede ved vannkanten. Arealeffektiv hytte, freshe soverom på hovedplanet med gode senger. Godt med batteridrevne lamper/lyskilder. Her koste både barn og voksne seg, vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Takk for lånet av hytta. Veldig koselig sted, passe gangavstand fra parkeringsplass. Rolig og lunt rundt hytta, ungene stor-koste seg:) Overraskende fint utedo. Fine tur muligheter fra hytta og fiskelykke i nærliggende vann. Gøy :) Alt av utstyr vi trengte var i hytta, og det var lett og hente mere ved. Vi kommer tilbake :D

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på denne hytta! Den lå idyllisk til, var ryddig og koselig innredet, og ga oss akkurat den pausen fra byen vi trengte i påsken. Inngang via nøkkelboks var superenkelt, og Hanne svarte alltid raskt og vennlig på spørsmål. Anbefaler hytta på det varmeste! :-)

I have to admit: the road up to Kristin’s hut can be quite adventurous – if it’s rainy and you’re not driving an off-road car – but it’s definitely worth it! Both the view (if you’re lucky) and the house are an absolute dream! We had the whole place to ourselves and loved the peace and quiet up on the hill in this lovely, remote area. The house is extremely cozy – especially with its fireplace and the cave-like bedroom with a view. It’s fairly small, yet the space is used well, so it doesn’t feel small at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the solar-powered electricity (plus gas) is enough for all the essentials. We honestly didn’t miss anything – on the contrary, we loved the simplicity (along with the coziness and functionality) of it all. Exactly the kind of place that makes you reconnect with nature and with yourself. Easily could have stayed longer. Thanks, Kristin, for sharing this precious haven with other people who hopefully all appreciate it as much as we did!
