The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Great communication, super clean apartment with all essentials for actually cooking for yourself and v comfy bed. Felt v safe as a solo traveller. Incredible views, lovely local walks with more gorgeous views. Loved taking the kayak out and enjoying the crystal clear water. It was super quiet when I went, imagine it's a little busier in summer. Darko and family very welcoming, I'd love to go back one day.

Located about 30 mins by bus outside Dubrovnik it us definitely worth the extra effort. The view from the patio is stunning and there is everything you need provided. If you are looking to escape the manic main areas and don't want an all-inclusive experience this is it. the villa is on a main route direct to the old town and if you buy the dubrovnik pass the bus is free. There is a faily steep walk and a fair few steps to reach the villa so you need to be fit but you can use bolt or taxi to the property. great value for money

We stayed for 4 nights with our family, children age 4 & 2. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay and explore Dubrovnik. The apartment is perfectly located just steps from the old town / city walls, for a short trip this was ideal. Everything is on your doorstep, you can walk everywhere. The house is beautiful and Ivona has done a wonderful job of designing it. It was so well equipped with everything you needed. Michael welcomed us and even arranged our transfer from the airport. They had left us a selection of snacks including bread, milk, jams, coffee pods, wine, beer which was great. The swimming pool area is a bonus and we enjoyed an afternoon swimming and enjoying the views. The whole complex is spotless and so well maintained. I was a little apprehensive as of whether the children would enjoy Dubrovnik, however they loved it and I would recommend. We hope to return one day and if you are considering booking, book early, you will not disappointed. Thank you!

Andrea was an incredible host! She helped us set up transportation from the airport to the Airbnb, she walked us to our apartment and then offered ice cream as a welcome to us! She was so kind and her space was very clean and beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. She showed back up at check out to ask if she needed to store our bags in between check out and our flight. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful city at this beautiful, well accommodating Airbnb. Thank you Andrea!

Das Old Sailor Apartments ist eine hervorragende Wahl für Familien und Paare, die eine gemütliche, preiswerte Unterkunft in guter Lage suchen. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich, die Ausstattung ist solide und praktisch, und die Lage bietet sowohl Nähe zur Altstadt als auch zur Küste. Wer jedoch viel Wert auf ein großzügiges Badezimmer legt, sollte dies vor der Buchung berücksichtigen.

The most amazing view. the most amazing host. we were reaching early at 745 am and our check in was at 3 , she ordered a taxi for us and got the room ready by the time we landed so that we could be accommodated. Her communications even before we landed was so helpful including when the police did the call for confirming our acco for the visa. But nothing beats the view. getting up in the morning and seeing the extremely blue sea with the ships... walking down to old city .. catching a bus (no 8) back , it was just an amazing trip

Sanja went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and was incredibly helpful and informative. The apartment was clean and has everything you might need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to travel to Croatia!

Eine tolle Wohnung & ein super Gastgeber! Es gibt wirklich alles, was man benötigt, inklusive Badehandtücher und Zahnbürsten. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, alles neu und blitzsauber. Vom Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht und wir konnten auch Terrasse und Garten der Gadtgeber nutzen. Neben hilfreichen Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gab es Getränke, Gebäck, Kuchen und Schokolade. Unsere Tochter war besonders von den zahlreichen Katzen angetan. Der Check-In und Check-out war einfach und flexibel. Alles in allem 100% empfehlenswert! Lediglich die Anfahrt mit dem Auto kann herausfordernd sein. Dafür gibt es einen großen Parkplatz und man ist zu Fuß schnell an der Bushaltestelle.

O apartamento é simples, mas bem completo e a vista do terraço é incrível. Muito agradável para tomar um vinho ou fazer uma refeição. Apesar de ser ao lado da estrada, o barulho não incomoda. O ponto de ônibus para Dubrovnik é bem perto. Há uma praia perto, uns 10 minutos a pé. É preciso ter em mente que o litoral da Croácia é acidentado, então subir e descer escadas para acessar as casas e praias é sempre necessário.

Whether it’s day or night—or during a sunset—you’re treated to an unforgettable panorama. The hosts, Perica and his wife, are incredibly kind and helpful. He’s easy to reach and always ready to assist with questions or recommendations for Dubrovnik. All in all, we would recommend this Airbnb to anyone. It’s just a short 10-minute walk downhill to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. For my wife and me, this Airbnb was a 10 out of 10.

This apartment and garden are beautiful. The apartment is clean, freshly painted, new appliances, comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The gardens are stunning with a wide variety of flowers, grapevine covered terrace and we enjoyed watching the resident tortoises meander across the terrace and through the gardens. There are a lot of stairs to get to this apartment, so best if you don’t have a large heavy suitcase. The climb is worth it, but beware if you have any mobility issues.

Exemplary host, who exudes genuine kindness. Hosts like Alberto and his unique property (location/proximity to cultural attractions, setting/old world taste of Croatian living) are why Airbnb is my go to place for finding a place to stay.

Ubytovanie v tichej časti Dubrovnika. Ubytovanie je vysoko avšak je velmi hodnotné pre výborný výhľad. Najlepšie vybavený apartmán v akom sme boli. Vybavenie kuchyne je excelentné. Ideálne pre návštevníkov ktorí si sami varia. V kuchyni boli k dispozícií všetky základné potraviny. Zvlášť vhodné pre cestovatelov lietadlom. Apartmán je čistý a útulný. Odporúčam na 100%.

Logement très bien situé au centre de Dubrovnik, dispose d'un balcon (petit mais agréable), Mirna et Marko sont très réactifs et accueillants. Merci beaucoup à vous. Petit bémol non pas sur l'appartement mais sur la ville : celle-ci est devenue bien trop élitiste et à perdu tout son charme et son âme. Bien que l'architecture est très belle, les commerçants/restaurateurs ne décrochent pas un sourire et ont l'air déprimés de travailler dans les établissements, qui facturent pourtant extrêmement cher le moindre produit. En outre, bien que la ville soit prête à facturer jusqu'à 132€ la journée pour une place de parking, elle ne semble pas disposée à dépenser un centime pour simplifier l'utilisation des transports en commun (un vrai casse tête). Si vous êtes prêts malgré tout à visiter Dubrovnik, je vous recommande fortement cet appartement.

Nikolina is fabulous. Met us at the Buza gate and carried our luggage to the apartment. Sat with us and explained everything we needed to know on a map. She made us feel like family. The location is fabulous. Everything you want to see is a short walk. All the reviews written by previous guests could not be more accurate. Thank you Nikolina.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. This is one of the best Air BnB’s I have stayed in and that is wholly down to the host Anita. Before our trip she sent over all the information we needed for check in which was so helpful. The video on how to find and access the apartment was amazing! The apartment itself is so spacious, clean and in such a perfect location. All of the main sights are within a 5 minute walk and there are so many gorgeous restaurants on the doorstep. The bakery across the street was perfect for breakfasts and there’s a supermarket a couple of streets down which was great for getting bottles of water. We cannot fault our stay in Dubrovnik, from the Air BnB, the places to see, the atmosphere of the city & the people - it was perfect!

We have never stayed any where better!! And I like to think I’ve traveled a lot lol Outside the million steps to get there.. which was a funny story / adventure in and of itself… this place was PHENOMENAL. And the view made the steps a million times worth it. Irena was beyond helpful/responsive and gave MANY recommendations. Someone commented “you’re staying here!?” As we were opening the door to the apartment… it is that special of a spot. The hot water was also an adventure to figure out but once we got it, we understood what we needed to do. A quirk of staying in an old city! Worth it. Everything was amazing. We would love to come back again!
