We loved everything about our stay! The house was so cute, clean and exactly as described. Thoughtful and fun decor and toys for kids was a big plus. Tonyia was quick to respond and very helpful. There was a book of instructions/info in the house that was also useful. Overall this house was a perfect place to stay and we will absolutely stay again!

The view of the lake from the living room is one of the best in LandHarbor. The house is very well equipped - everything you need to enjoy, cook, a covered patio, and comfortable beds. I will be back again!

The condo was well maintained and included everything our family of 4 needed to have a good time. The facility offered shuttles to the distant parking area which was appreciated. The location is beautiful. Onsite food selection at the pantry is minimal, definitely recommend grocery shopping prior to arrival. The location is 20-30 minutes from attractions in Boone.

Our family loved staying at Jared’s home. Lovely space, quiet but easy to get to Boone and Blowing Rock. Plenty of room for a family of five and we will certainly try to stay here again next time we are in the area.

Great place to stay. Very clean with lots of games and things to do inside when not enjoying local attractions.

This was a very nice cabin, but be aware it is 30-35 minutes from downtown and a rough drive particularly in the dark. The area between downtown Burnsville and here was hit badly by hurricane flooding. It didn’t impact the cabin itself or the immediate community but the length of the drive and rough parts definitely discouraged us from popping back to the cabin during the day. If you were planning on going there and staying in. This is a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The community was very quiet and the condo was extremely clean. The decor was very cute and the bed/pillows were so comfortable!

We went to NC from Florida hoping to experience some cold weather & snow. We found Tami’s house and contacted her about availability. She was an amazing host- helpful and very informed about the area. The house was extremely clean and it had everything we needed for a month in the mountains. We ate out 3 times & the remainder of the time, we cooked our meals there. Appliances were clean and worked like new, linens were plentiful and nice, the washer & dryer was great , the WiFi was “screaming fast” , the tv streaming was a plus and the morning coffee on the deck was perfect. We watched deer in the backyard and she had even decorated for the holiday season. We had another couple that came up the week after Christmas, and the house never seemed crowded. They had snow a number of days and even though the temperature got down to 14 degrees, we were warm & toasty in the house. When we go back to North Carolina, we will definitely stay in Tami’s home. It was great.

The house was great. Surrounding mountain was beautiful and breathtaking! Really peaceful to sit on the ginormous porch with a good cup of coffee in the mornings to watch the sunrises! ☀️☀️❤️ Driving around was an adventure in and of itself. There’s quite a bit to do around here, but it takes more than 30 minutes to get anywhere due to mountainous terrain and crazy winding roads. I’ll say this: definitely plan to visit some of the waterfalls. We visited the Crabtree Falls and it was amazing. There’s a short but strenuous 1.5 mile hike, so plan accordingly. I believe anywhere visit, just plan for a hike, so wear comfortable shoes. Back to the house: there’s a fire pit outside and chairs available we didn’t utilize, but our families spent most the time in the kitchen, living room, and porch, eating, playing games, and watching movies when we were home. We liked the rustic cabin vibe! And lastly, Cindy was quick to respond to any queries we had. This is a MUST SEE PLACE to visit!!! 😊😊😊

Jeff has a beautiful property that was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire party. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful experience with an amazing view to give Jeff and his property a chance! We look forward to booking again in the future.

This was an amazing place for work retreat and goal planning for 2023 for me and my team of 4. All of us had their own bedroom and bathroom. The place was spacious and beautifully located and we have enjoyed every minute while staying there. There is an extensive paperwork that comes with reservation of this place but it also offers impeccable and safe place to stay. I would definitely stay at this location in the future wheather for leisure or work event.

Ila’s place is a beautiful and peaceful mountain retreat, even more so than the photos portray. Her home is clean, spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed (and then some!) We stayed with our teenage daughter, who slept in the downstairs bedroom and loved her private bath and hideaway. Ila was welcoming and responsive- a perfect host. We absolutely would return to her lovely home again. Thank you, Ila!

This cabin was everything you could ask for! John clearly went above and beyond to ensure we had all the creature comforts we could need, in a home that is absolutely stunning. We could have listened to the creek and animals for hours on end. Would absolutely book again when back in town.

The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need for your family to feel at home. There is still quite a bit of debris around the surrounding area due to the hurricane, but nothing that stopped us from having a great time. We loved the creek sounds and the hot tub on the porch!! We will definitely be booking this cabin again!!

This was our second time staying at Claudia and John’s place. It was extremely private and peaceful. Our grown kids loved it too, because it was nostalgic and artistic. They have countless video cassette types, the kind we went to Blockbuster for. They also have a closet full of board games. We spent all of our nights playing Monopoly and admiring the ceramics and drawings around the house. It felt like home. It felt like it did when our children were little. Now they are grown and on their own. We just loved being together in that space.

Love the house! Perfect! So peaceful. Great place to stay. We will absolutely choose this place again.

My wife and I were delighted with both the spaciousness and the decor. The outdoor setting was welcoming, and numerous touches of hospitality were discovered inside. We would not hesitate to recommend this place.

It’s a beautifully remodeled home with a spacious and modern kitchen appointed with brand new appliances and everything you need for meal preparation. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and beds are comfortable. It’s completely up to date technologically with huge smart TV’s - oh and the bathroom shower is great too! Plenty of room with a separate family room and a large lounging area accessible to the kitchen and dining area. The night sky is extraordinary! We want to go back when the observatory is open! The family touches throughout the home make it seem like you’re a part of the family. I can’t recommend it enough.

This gem of a farm home on a spacious apple orchard was the perfect place for me during the middle of a huge life transition and sabbatical. One of the highlights was the well stocked kitchen and the welcoming dining room and window seat! But words do not adequately express the value of this place at this stage of my life journey. Interactions with the owners were very friendly and hospitable and I certainly hope I can enjoy another stay there in the future! For someone wanting a pastoral place to rejuvenate, I highly recommend this beautiful apple orchard home! For me, who is in between homes, it was a place that fostered hope for my future, while dwelling at home there for several weeks! Thanks to the owners for making this place available!

Wonderful private setting within an hour drive of almost anything you might want to do (hiking, caves, city, etc.). The house was comfortable and well stocked, which made it easy to prepare meals and enjoy our time while at the home. Definitely recommend!

We had tickets to the dark sky observatory, and although the weather didn’t cooperate, it was so nice to have a couple of days at this beautiful house. We loved watching the clouds blow over the mountains from the wall of windows in the kitchen and dining room area. We took a few short hikes around the property. We drove into Burnsville for shopping and dinner. And we headed up to Grandfather Mountain on our way home. All in all, a lovely getaway!
