Family-friendly holiday rentals in Missoula County

Everything was as stated, D was great to work with, let us use her personal oven to feed our kids pizza, and was a delight to visit with.

The place was awesome, not only being able to relax in the hot tub, but also enjoying a nice fire pit and beautiful home was the highlight of my trip to Missoula! Thanks so much again Matt for making this stay so productive and heavily accommodating.

A tranquil cabin vacation is the ideal way to unwind and recharge. Set deep in nature, this type of getaway offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. From the moment we arrived, the calming surroundings—the sounds of a nearby stream and the sight of towering trees—immediately set the tone for peace and quiet. The cabin itself was a charming blend of rustic and modern. With cozy interiors, a fireplace, and large windows that brought the outdoors in, it felt like the perfect home away from home. There was plenty to do, from hiking and canoeing to simply relaxing and soaking in nature’s beauty. This trip offered everything needed for a peaceful yet active vacation.

We were in Ronan for an event that took place at the high school. Although Donna's Place feels like it is a long way out of town, it was only 2.6 miles from our destination. Donna's Place was easy to find and is surrounded by natural beauty. Everything was sparkling clean and well organized. Donna and Jim were wonderful hosts -- very pleasant and extremely helpful. Donna even took the time to show us a nearby place were we could go walking in the woods. We loved the balcony that faces east -- such a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy the mountain scenery and wildlife. Oh, and if you enjoy a delicious breakfast, you will not be disappointed -- YUM! If we come through Ronan in the future, we would love to stay at Donna's Place again. Thank you, Donna and Jim! :-)

Convenient location for us. Very peaceful. Love the things going on at their ranch. Suzanne is very communicative and helpful. Check-in and check-out was very easy and stress free. Pictures represent the place well.

We loved staying at Carrie's home - very peaceful surroundings, comfortable, and and the place had everything you could possibly imagine. One thing that was interesting was that you were only allotted one roll of paper towel and one dishwasher pod for the weekend...that was the only negative of the stay, other than that, it was perfect!

We had an extended stay in this superb home. Wonderful location in an elegant setting. Very walkable. Christian responded promptly and was enthusiastic to provide for our needs.

Our group was traveling to attend two weddings in Missoula and we needed a great, walkable location for our weekend adventures. Janna's place was the perfect spot to reconnect with our group. The space was divided beautifully into some great (kid friendly) bedrooms and play areas. The neighborhood is lovely! Janna communicated with us so well and in such short order. Beautiful house, wonderfully preserved. Great neighborhood. Great extras like a Sonos speaker for Great tunes! And fun artwork in every corner. Everything we needed. Perfect for a long weekend with our kids and their partners. We played games for hours in the breakfast nook. Thanks!

Johns place was beautiful and so was the landscape and views. The home even accommodated a 9-month-old baby. Splitting the cost with several family members made it reasonable for us. Lots of room for the kids and the house is beautiful.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Cabin. It was cozy and felt like home. The sheets were very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. We lit the fire and played games, hung out in the La Z Boy chair with the cozy throw blankets. It is so nice to be all together in one place. The only downside is the noise from the highway when you open doors/windows. If they are closed you don't hear it tho. We will definitely stay again!

Loved our stay here! Very clean, good living space and kitchen items. We loved spending time on the porches! Beds were all comfy. Exactly what we needed, would stay again!

Beautiful location and Dylan and Shannon clearly love their home. The woods are so peaceful and the fire pit was a lovely addition for evenings unwinding from the day. We had a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Our family of 4 was in town for a mountain bike race and loved our stay at 1400. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We loved how close it was to running/biking trails. Scott and Rachel were hospitable and very communicative.

Communication with Bethanie was seamless; she was friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything we needed for a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free visit.

Awesome little studio! Easy to find, very clean, and walkable to most everything Missoula has to offer. It's a corner unit on the top floor of the Wilma so the views were spectacular. Tons of natural light. Both beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home. The unit is on the small side, but if you're coming to Missoula, you're not spending a ton of time in your room anyway. We loved this rental and hope to stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The place was great and exactly as pictured. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The location was great and extremely walkable to tons of restaurants, stores, and sites. If I am ever in Missoula in the future, I would definitely stay here again.
